Neptune Mombasa is a magical special place that speaks to your soul! Its scenic views of the sea are unforgettable. Here, it is the little touches that make the big difference. This cuts across from the tiny details in the exterior and interior design of the property to the good service levels provided by the highly trained host team. They are very enthusiastic, know and love their country, and shared it with us and other travellers with such pride. One of the things I really liked about this property is the personal touch and friendliness of its owners. Despite having a busy schedule, they were more than happy to personally welcome us into their place. You can start your day here with a refreshing cup of Kenyan tea of coffee as you watch the sun rise and birds sing joyfully. The food is fresh, inventive and full of flavor. Thanks to the hotel’s location within easy reach from Mombasa town, it is possible for adventurers to do city tours and shopping.…
First solo trip gone awry!!!! Customer service - zero Food - negative zero Rooms - OK. Had a negative experience from rude breakfast chefs to sipping juice that is more water than juice. The first hotel I've been in mombasa that is very unwelcoming.
I would like to comment the friendly staff that the Neptune Beach Resort has from the Reception to the house keepers, waiters and chefs. Kalimbo, the guy who works at the pool area is very friendly as well together with the entertainment crew lead by Michael. I danced all nights i was there from 10pm to 11pm..Oooh my i would come here over and over again. Their meals are tasty together with their drinks as well.. This is the place to be for your next vacation in the north coast
The food is perfect (a large variety of fruits, meat, vegetables), very beautiful area, but the best is the staff. Celebrated a birthday at this hotel and it was the best greeting in my life! The staff danced, sang songs to me and gave me a cake. The beach is like in the Maldives. And there are monkeys right on the territory! Definitely recommend
I have stayed at a number of hotels in North Coast and this is on top of the list of best stays. Every management personnel and staff I interacted with was friendly and ready to help . Great location by the beach and this property is sure to charm you.The room was spacious, clean and the bed super comfy. Was in an all inclussive plan and damn! talk of bottomless meals.. I will def be back and higly recommend this gem to my peeps!!
It was great to be back here after two years because of Covid. Madam Ruth and the staff were friendly as usual and very helpful. Our rooms were clean. There weren’t many guests due to the impact of the pandemic so we missed their usual buffet dinner although the food was generally superb. Looking forward to our next visit.
This was business travel, so most of the time was spent outside. However, the staff was extremely welcoming, helpful, and really always ready to help. The only sad thing was that the pool only opened until 6pm, which was the time we came back. But everyone was just amazing, the entertainment was also very nice, we had one every day.
The good: great location next to the beach. Quiet pool. Pleasant staff. Lydia at reception has great customer service which makes up for the poor communication skills displayed by the hotel manager. The head chef is very considerate of the clients. Thank you. The bad: food is okay, lacks variety. Do not book all inclusive it is not worth it. Limited alcohol selection. If you prefer to buy your own alcohol outside the all inclusive offer it is still not worth it. Poor selection. The ugly: your DJ is rude. The hotel was not full so it did not make sense why the DJ would blast loud music for only 10 people. He was asked to reduce the volume on several occasions but refused to do so. To make it worse his music selection is not at all appealing. Overall: The rooms can be improved. Consider entering the 21st Century and doing away with some of your archaic rules. Get another DJ and limit the noise levels. The hotel is appealing to a traveler seeking a quite time by the beach but your DJ just ruins this.…
The resort common areas are very large and feel roomy and not crowded. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the beds very comfortably. Our AC was able to make the room very cold, which I really like. The grounds are a little small in comparison to the number of rooms, but it was not crowded at all when I was there. The grounds are keeps very nicely trimmed and the pool is very nice. The beach out from the resort is sandy and flat and we were not bothered much at all by beach vendors. That area of the ocean is a marine park and the snorkeling is quite good. Diving trips and boat trip are available right there. I cannot say enough good about the staff. They were exceptional to the highest level, being very attentive to our needs and requests. The cooking staff made exceptional food and the wait staff were on top of everything. If you want a great get-away at a great price, this is the place for you.…
My husband and I stayed at Neptune Bamburi for a few days. It was awesome! The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. A big thank you to Mary at the front office. Food was very good to! A very nice and quite place if your wanting to just relax and enjoy the coast. Will definitely be coming back. Asanteni.
