We visited Bolton arms at the beginning of this month for three nights, my husband 14 month old daughter and my parents. We had rooms 4 and 5 which are lovely (parents fourth visit). Room 5 was made into a double which was two singles together not that you would notice and it made a huge bed with still enough...

Had a lovely weekend at the Bolton Arms, great base for exploring the Dales. Our room was in the converted stables, lovely room with great facilities, plenty of tea and coffee with loads of milk, we usually have to go in search of extra milk, but not here. Great Yorkshire breakfast, done to order and plentiful, loads of fresh fruit,...

The Bolton Arms is a must if you want to explore the Dales in Yorkshire. What a friendly place. We arrived & asked about laundry facilities. They said there weren't any as such but offered to do our Laundry free of charge. This was wonderful as we had been travelling for a while. The room was fine with comfortable beds...

Stayed at the Bolton Arms for two nights to break a journey home from Scotland and to explore a part of the country I was not familiar with. Unfortunately I picked probably the two wettest July days for years. No matter, the Bolton Arms was excellent. Nice clean room, comfortable bed, quality linen and towels. Good shower. I had an...

Had a very enjoyable stay, very friendly, very good food, and despite previous reviews the room was adequate in size for both of us + 2 dogs. There are plenty of areas around to give the dogs a good walk too, and it is handy having ground floor rooms with easy access separate from the pub.

Rooms 1 and 2 are delightful, the staff and owners are friendly and helpful. Food is good and too plentiful catering for those who can manage big portions. The Coffee and Walnut cake is to die for. A great place to recharge batteries and damage waistlines.

A first time for us staying in the dales and we weren't disappointed. We stayed from Monday afternoon until Wednesday morning in room 4, we chose the Bolton Arms after reading the great reviews and more importantly they were very dog friendly, our dog was allowed into the public areas of the bar at all times. We got an excellent...
