Travellers' Choice
The Old Town Hall is the award winning B&B, named AA Guest Accommodation of the Year for England in 2018/19 and offers peace and tranquillity in the village of Redmire, between Leyburn and Aysgarth Falls. Louise and David offer 3 large rooms with beamed ceilings, all luxuriously appointed to 5 star gold standards, including comfy settees in each room. We offer award winning home cooked breakfasts, using fresh local ingredients. On arrival tea/coffee is available with home baked cakes and biscuits in the guest sitting room. If visiting the beautiful and tranquil Yorkshire Dales wasn't enough of an attraction, Dave and Lorrie cap it all with a unique blend of hospitality and charm. The Old Town Hall is the perfect base for forays into the countryside and Dave and Lorrie are magicians in the kitchen. I blame them for my spreading girth!! The rooms are spotless, the beds unbelievably comfy and crisp due to Egyptian Cotton covers, and the breakfasts are mouthwateringly delicious. Miss this little gem at your peril!! Gary and Bev

Just come back from a 2 night break at this lovely B & B, fabulous location, fabulous room, fabulous food and fabulous hosts and not forgetting their fabulous dog Shula. There are many places to visit should you wish to with breathtaking scenery so many that we couldn't see them all and those that we did we would have liked to have spent more time there so the only thing we can do is go back again and when we do we will definitely choose to stay at the OLD TOWN HALL. Thank you Lorri & Dave.

I have stayed in many hotels and B&B's in my time, some good and some bad, kind of that luck of the draw thing.... But The Old Town Hall is way out there. It has superb accommodation for a relaxing stay in congenial surroundings. Then of course there’s the food which is of excellent quality, served without fuss and exactly to your precise liking. But Lorri and Dave go that extra yard, no that’s not enough, I would say, extra mile to deliver a warm welcome and attention to detail even coming out to collect and assist with any luggage. Superb and many thanks. Stephen & Pam

This was our second visit to the Old Town Hall, almost exactly a year after the first. Last year I said it was the best B&B we had stayed in in Britain. Since we were here last time, Dave and Lorri have made several improvements to the accommodation which make it even better so I now have to say "Better than the Best". We arrived tired after a long motorway journey and were welcomed with a nice cup of tea and chat. Lorri soon had us feeling human again. Breakfast is superb. I would say you "design your own" from a wide choice of options. It is very well cooked and beautifully presented. A nice touch is warm fruit to have with your cereal. Dave and Lorri take a very professional approach to running the business and nothing seems too much trouble. At the same time, it's
