We stayed here for a 2 night weekend break and would definitely recommend this b&b to others. David and Louise are friendly, helpful and hospitable. Delicious home made cake and coffee in front of the fire when we arrived and a spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable room with lots of lovely touches to make it that bit extra special. Breakfast was fabulous with freshly made hot and cold options, David and Louise clearly take a lot of time and effort to source and cook great produce from the region. Redmire is ideally placed to explore the Yorkshire Dales and is close to numerous great pubs and restaurants. Again, the hosts are happy to provide you with suggestions and ideas.

We enjoyed a wonderful two night stay with David & Louise, staying in the Wensleydale room, a beautifully fitted bedroom with a delightfully cosy sitting room attached. Breakfasts were excellent and the overall ambience of the place is absolutely top drawer. Five star in every sense.

We have just spent a mid-week break at The Old Town Hall Bed and Breakfast with our hosts, Louise and David. What a fabulous place to stay! Set in a small village, The Old Town Hall offers rooms that are exceptional, -spacious and spotless - with great attention paid to detail like the little rechargeable torch, chocolates, wine and luxury toiletries. Louise's breakfast is made using local produce and she cooks a mean poached egg! David makes his own fresh bread daily as well as making jam. Knowing the area well, they were very helpful in providing us with a map and suggested a route for our day's activities which meant we saw a lot more of the Yorkshire Dales than we would have done. It would be extremely difficult to find a better B & B than this - we will be back for sure.

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a bday celebration A very warm welcome from Louise(David was away) followed by a fresh brew and a slice of homemade cake The whole accommodation is tastefully decorated. Our suite was gorgeous with such attention to detail with little touches like complimentary wine, cordial, fresh milk, homemade shortbread and of course tea/coffee.The jacuzzi bath was lovely with candles available to use which again was a nice touch. The king size was bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was just delicious with locally sourced produce, homemade bread, jams fresh juices, fresh fruit-truly lovely Probably the best bed n breakfast we have ever stayed in. Look forward to coming back Thank you for a lovely stay!
