Homey and comfortable, the hotel is perfectly located on the beach but just far enough away from the clubs to be quiet and inviting. Quaint anachronisms like a rotary phone, miniature elevator, and actual key to your room made it even lovelier. A great place to start our tour of Greece!

A good deal when travelling on a budget. With a seaside view and access to a pool and café. A lot of bars, restaurants and cafés right by the hotel and also a 24h kiosk right outside. A good deal if you don't mind the old feel to the place.

I absolutelly agree with Robert H review - my experience and mind is the same. It's old done but not bad for that. And it is cheap. Sea view is beautiful and sea is across the street -I didn't need anything more. And hotels garden is big, with citrus trees and others plants - nice.Breakfast is not unlimited but quite...

So, first of all, the Nireus is open all year long. I was there in the off-season, when it is often hard to find an open hotel in such places. Next, the price is very reasonable. Much cheaper as a walk-in rate than it is if you book on booking.com. The hotel is 1960s or 1970s retro. It is old,...

The hotel was fine, but had a very strange and dated feel. Adequate for the price, but not especially comfortable. Note that Google Maps places this hotel much farther south than it actually is; it is near the Marathon hotel in the heart of Nea Makri.

Stayed at this hotel with my sister while visiting family around Nea Makri. Room outdated and basic but clean. Pool was extremely big and kept very clean. Breakfast was added during booking and have to say it was extremely average. Ordered at times some lunch and snakes and all were tasty and authentic. Overall it was a pleasant stay with...

Welcome to the European beachside hotel, circa 1955. Some will call it gracious and nostalgic, particularly in the spacious lobby; others, seeing the rudimentary fixtures in the sterile rooms, will appreciate how the hotel industry has advanced. The family room consisted of adjoining dormitory-type rooms with one bathroom (which had a basically non-existent shower). The beds were fine; the wireless...

average hotel with rooms with nice views. The room is clean, but could use some moderazation. The pool is small and not enough of sunbeds. Its a old hotel, not expensive with a nice view of the beach.
