I cant recommend this property highly enough. It was perfect for a quiet luxury getaway.Enjoyed a lovely drive through the Waitakere ranges, The Hotel is down a tree lined long drive, then opens up to spectacular views from the hotel to the city and Rangitoto island in the gulf. the hotel itself does not have the usual boring run of...

We stayed here for the night for a quick break. The grounds here are breathtakingly beautiful and immaculately maintained. The hotel is situated at the edge of a forest reserve. A really peaceful place in which to relaxed. Our room was modern, clean and well equipped with a balcony offering a view of the surrounding greenery. We ate dinner in...

It would probably have helped if we had arrived by daylight. We arrived after dark after a long drive up long windy roads, and then a long drive down a very steep unlit driveway to what seemed to be a large abandoned house. There was next to no lighting or signage. We rand a bell by the door then kept...

We are sorry to see you had difficulty finding our Hotel and did not appreciate the modern classic design of our Boutique Hotel which provides some warmth and charachter to the Hotel. Our Hotel is in a rural rainforest setting just outside of the Auckland City urban area. Like most rural locations in New Zealand and overseas there are no...

We stayed at this property for a friends wedding. In its day Im sure it would have been stunning. It is looking quite dated which is unfortunate as has so much going for it. Our room was large and well set out with a small balcony overlooking the pool. (not heated).Only gripe on room was bathroom fan if you happened to...

My wife and I stayed here over night as we were going to a friends wedding nearby and it is quite away out from central Auckland. The hotel is nestled in amongst some beautiful forest and has amazing views with birdlife in abundance. You really get the full forest experience. The decor is a bit dated and the whole place...

Thank you for your review and we are pleased you enjoyed our stunning rainforest setting 30 kilometres from downtown Auckland. At only a 35 to 40 minute drive from downtown Auckland or the Auckland airports the little extra driving time is worthwhile to experience the unique setting and rainforest surrounds of the Hotel. The Hotel has been extensively refubished over...

Our first trip to New Zealand and we're wondering where to stay for a night before embarking on a road trip. Since we hired a car we weren't limited to hotels near the airport or downtown, so booked a room at the Waitakere Estate. Although it took us Yanks about an hour to find it, winding through residential areas and...

We stayed here for 2 nights (4 Adults) in a two bedroom Apartment. The views were absolutely sensational and the gardens are fantastic. The apartment had nice decor and spacious. Worth spending the extra $$$ for the upgraded apartments. Great place to relax and soak up the atmosphere. Staff very friendly.
