This is the worst I've ever been in. I'd camp outside in freezing snow and cold than step into this hotel again. Don't book this hotel. It's so bad, the rooms are freezing, beds are soaked, bathroom is disgusting and the food is so inedible it made me vomit 3 times.

fabulous location, hotel basic, meals adequate...this was on a Leisuretime holiday, so maybe everything is tailored to the tour overall price.. the annexe rooms are a bit weird, as they have obviously been converted to en - suite at the expense of space in adjoining rooms...but overall you get what you pay for....

Stayed here with 36 school kids and three colleagues. Hotel is of a traditional style and in need of decoration. The owner and staff were very friendly. Food was simple but plentiful, ideal for the kids we brought. The hotel is an ideal base for exploring the area with a group.

We have just returned from spending Christmas week at this hotel. We were in the annex to the hotel which was adequate but a bit of a shock when we arrived very late from a delayed ferry and we were all trying to find our way in the dark lane to our rooms. Luckily enough there were people who had...

This is a very traditional hotel, our room had no tea or coffee facility luckily we took a travel kettle with us. The room was very clean but in need of a refurb although I hope that they do not lose the character. We were there on a coach holiday, the food was fine but no choice of menu, it...

Stayed here last week with 43 11-12 year olds. Excellent service and staff very helpful. Rooms, whilst small, had everything that they needed, the food was great for a school trip as there was something that they would all eat. Lunch was a packed, make it yourself style deal. As we arrived in a heatwave, having the outdoor pool just...

I have just returned from a 3 night stay with a group of secondary school students. This hotel is ideal for school trips as it is in a very safe location. We found the rooms clean and quirky. Space was a bit tight but our pupils were very happy. We had our own annexe across the road from the main...

I spent last Monday to Friday (8-12 Dec 14) at the Jagerhof hotel whilst on a coach trip with Leisuretime. I must say Leisuretime were up to the usual poor standards. The hotel rooms were very uninviting with an absolutely tiny ill equipped bathroom. I would advise anyone visiting this hotel in the near future to take a torch with...

My husband and I stayed here recently on a coach trip with leisuretime. The service at this hotel was appalling. First the rooms were freezing cold and Jimmy the owner claimed that there was air trapped in the system, which took two and a half days to fix. Then when you think things cannot get worse the food was terrible...

Just returned from a 5 day coach trip with Leisuretime. Can honesly say that this is the very worst hotel (and I use the term loosely) that I have had the misfortune to stay in. My friend and I stayed in a twin room in the annexe. It was freezing cold. leaky bathroom, damp beds and Im sure the shower...
