Incredibly friendly hosts, were blown away that I would pop in for dinner from Graz. Food was great. I took whatever they had cooked that night which was soup and then for main meal a selection of cuts, like wild boar, a small piece of schnitzel and some knödel. Nice drive up, just regretted that I didn't go there earlier...

What a super place to spend relaxing time and forget all the sorrows of this world! The owners of the Jagawirt are super friendly, speak good English and are a dog (and people!) loving family full of useful advice, not only concerning hikes and outings. When our car broke down, they referred us to their local garage whose helpful and...

This is one of those places where you feel instantly relaxed: it is like going to gradma for a holiday in the mountains. Fresh air, idyllic setting, great food (although for Austria the portions are surprisingly small), lovely wine and very friendly owners. It is also very close to the motorway and Graz (20 minutes), yet right in the wonderful...

My husband and I recently stayed here for 4 nights to attend a friend's wedding also at the Jagawirt. The airlines lost our luggage, but as soon as we arrived at the Jagawirt, we were immediately at ease. The staff went to great lengths to ensure we had everything we needed. I have worked in hospitality, including a high-end bed...

Simple but pleasant accommodations. Weather was warm and there is no a/c but windows opened which helped, but it is summer and this let in Mosquitos. Breakfast included and it was good, typical European breakfast food, eggs were available. The food otherwise was high quality and tasty. Surrounding grounds were wooded and made for nice walking. Parking free and easy,...

My husband and I traveled with our toddler to this Austrian version of a bed and breakfast (name translates to something like Hunter's Tavern) and stayed for a week for my sister's wedding. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone exploring the Styrian wine trail, on a gastronomy tour, hiking, or just needing some rest....

Me and my wife called here for the standard drink of coffee and soft drink while driving around the wine region. Very popular with the locals and set in a beautiful location. The outside eating area is facing inwards towards the very idilic buildings. The staff were very helpful and attentive and with a lovely smile to welcome you. We...
