Whilst staying in Arnside for the weekend with family we decided to look for a restaurant for Sunday Lunch and after looking on TA we decided to eat in this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Meal and drinks order taken very efficiently, and when the food arrived it was very good. would recommend for the traditional Sunday roast. Staff...

We stayed here while cycling the Morecambe bay ride - it was great (and made even better by having a corner room with views across the bay from two windows. We didn't eat in (breakfast a bit too late for us) but there was a brilliant chippie nearby. They also had a very attractive pub garden mounting high over the...

Having booked to stay 2 night's here after watching 4 in a bed, We were expecting a little bit more in a 4 star b&b. The landlord was friendly enough, as were all the staff, offered us a free upgrade to a front room with view of the estuary, We believed we had already paid for this in the options...

All 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening here, the menu was good and we were all pleased with the food we were served. The pub was busy as you would expect on a Friday evening and there was a bit of a wait that we didn't mind but we were all disappointed by the unfriendliness of the waiting staff...

This was our 5th stay at the Fighting Cocks Brilliant staff especially Michelle and Jo who made our stay very enjoyable and both work very hard. Tony and jeanette returned from a short break midway through our stay obviously tired from travelling but still took the time to talk to all guests and made everyone feel welcomed. We are going...

My husband and I stayed here for a night. We love Arnside and the pub is very welcoming. We stayed in the barn conversion and the room was absolutely lovely and beautifully decorated. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The only negative I can find is that my...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fighting Cock. We had a problem with our booking but we were simply upgraded to a spacious room. Great location with lovely walks along the front and cheap train across the bay to Grange or beyond. Super breakfast . We asked about our bikes and they were nicely stored in a laundry area....

Came up for the weekend and had a single room. Bit small but clean and tidy. Toilet a few feet down the hall. but shower in room. Had a good nights sleep and a fair breakfast. The breakfast room was cold but the service was warm. The food was of a good standard and the beer was on top form....

Stayed in one of the new barn rooms. Food lovely but restaurant was cold. Beautiful rooms but I am size 10 and struggled to move to wash in the shower, kept banging myself, couldn't bend down to wash feet, legs. Small triangular cubicle not big enough for a larger person. Beautiful views of the estuary. Perfect location. Lovely staff.
