We only stayed for one night and encountered just two staff, both a bit lacklustre and disinterested... Fine for a stop off but unlikely to be back. Nice views.

we had a good deal for the room and the quality of the hotel is very good.;very nice rooms. We stayed just for one night. We had a lunch and the prices of food and drinks are very high. 12 euro´s for a sandwich is overpriced in my opinion.

The road in was somewhat of a chore, if you can call it a road, it's a winding stretch of 1st gear concrete hill. (that's the only negative over with). The hotel staff were wonderful and friendly, very polite and welcoming. It's a cosy retreat to relax and unwind. The rooms were gorgeous and much more pleasant than many hotel...

We came here to have a calm, quiet, relaxing and refreshing week in beautiful surroundings - and this hotel met all of our expectations! It is beautifully designed, the food in Celima Restaurant is delicious, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We were in room 6, with a large living room in addition to the bedroom, and a...

This really is a lovely hotel and in a beautiful location. The drive up the windy track was a bit scarey but worth it! The staff are very friendy and helpful. The pool area is quite small but this wasn't a problem - it just adds to the charm of the place. We had dinner in the restaurant and our...

My girlfriend and I only stayed here for a night and wish it could of been longer. You realise this hotel will be something different as you approach via a windy, steep coutry track (beware if you have stiff car suspension) through the heart of a surprisingly lush, green range of hills. From the moment you step through the door...

Some other reviews have commented on the difficult drive to the Hermitage which was made even worse when the normal road was closed due to road repairs. We had to take a 3km detour up the mountain side on a narrow dirt track with precipitous slopes to the side. Having not taken a breath for the half hour it took...

Excellent resturant and superb setting. Ignore previous comments about access, the track has now been concreted and it is no more than an easy 5 min drive off the main Casares road. Fantastic views of the mountains and the coast to Gibraltar. Modern / boutique style but in quiet rural setting. Food very good and service very friendly. Great for...

“Rooms are quite nice, make sure you know how to get there, if you go towards Casares from the south pass Casares and the you will see a sign of the hotel to the left. If you are coming from the North it is about passing KM10 and the sign is on the right”

“We had a good look at all the rooms and they all looked fab. Our suite was on the other side of the pool with a large terrace looking down the mountain to the mediterranean and to Gibraltar in the distance. Beautiful.”
