Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice hotel, everything was clean, all the staff’s were kind, 👍 location is good only if you have car. The gym was very well equipped, all equipments were brand new and clean. They do not have a pool but they have a very good sauna.

I am a regular in the address and have been stayuing there on and off for several years. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable, although traffic noise can be an issue at night, expecially in the summer with windows open. Check in and reservations staff are fantastic. Helpful, polite and efficient. However, the standard of service in the McGettigans portion of the hotel is very poor, especially since they have reopned to the public in July. This is especially true at breakfast time. You are gretted with a sign that says 'please wait to be seated', but there is never anybody there to seat you. The breakfast staff seem disinterested, untrained and poorly managed. The evening staff in the retauranr there are better but many of the younger staff still seem more interested in looking at and talking to themselves rather than looking out for customer's needs. It has got a lot better though.

Lovely greeting in reception. No spare pillows available although hotel was certainly not full. Had to use cushions from bed. Very clean. No sauvignon blanc in bar- waiter seemed new but very pleasant. Had lovely Rosé instead though. Very comfortable beds - had great night's sleep. Maitre D' at breakfast could have greeted us nicely but all other staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Need towel holders for bathroom. Cost €304 as it was a Garth Brooks concert weekend. Definitely overpriced. Very handy location for travelling south on departure Overall enjoyable stay and will return but might have to bring our own pillows!

The room was lovely & clean as was the on suite bathroom. But there was no air conditioning in the room which made the room very warm. The onside restaurant was also very good. Here is where the hotel fell down was the staff expecially the on duty manager who did not care about his guest one bit. When he had to deal with problems that guest had. He made feel that they were complaining about nothing. P

Hotel is well located near the M7, easy access to the motorway to get to the city. Rooms are a nice size and have USB ports as well as sockets. Very clean and the staff are friendly. Secure parking. Breakfast is good with a nice selection.

First time in Ireland. Staff was very friendly. The information given about late night food being available was incorrect. It was quite noisy outside our room after 11:00 pm making it difficult to sleep
