We spent 3 nights here in high summer (our first time in Schiltach) and the hosts could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. They were welcoming from the start and we felt like guests rather than customers. The room was comfortable, the food was good (they sent food up to me in my room one night because I was...

Beautifully arranged room, excellent full breakfast, very friendly hosts. We searched the village and found this guesthouse by chance after finding the others were full. It was very comfortable. The village is very pretty.

We spent 3 nights at Hotel Gasthof zum Weyssen Rößle last week. The hotel was situated in the pretty (though rather quiet) village of Schiltach. It was very clean, WiFi coverage was excellent and breakfast was good. Rose was a charming and polite host who did everything she could to provide us with useful information and she also furnished us...

I spent 3 very enjoyable days staying at the zum Weyssen Roessle where I was made to feel very welcome by the proprietors, Rose & Ulrich. Rose in particular was very helpful and provided me with much useful information about the area. Incidentally Schiltach is a delightful and very picturesque village. I had 3 very good evening meals at the...

We were welcomed very warmly and Rose the owner went out of her way to accommodate us. The rooms and amenities are very comfortable. Particular personal care is taken with all aspects of the hotel. Rose is always on hand to recommend or help in any way. This was a great central place for a central hub to explore the...

A belated review on a European road trip we were on last year. We arrived late at night which wasn't a problem for the wonderful Rose. What an amazing woman! She welcomed us with open arms even though she was obviously in the midst of her cleaning routine (which was outstanding by the way!). We were showed to our room...

Our stay at the Gasthaus zum Weyssen Roessle was an absolute delight. I had been searching for a central hub to explore the Black Forest and had come upon Roessle. I am so thankful I did. It is a quaint guest house with few rooms and attentive service. The husband and wife whom run the Roessle ensure that you are...

Despite the fact that we arrived very late, we were very well taken care of right from the second we arrived. Rose made us feel very much at home and took great care in showing us the special spots around town and surrounding areas. She gave us maps and really took the time to make us feel like family. Her...

What an amazing place to stay. Rose, the host, was every so helpful with everything. There was nothing too much for her to do and she had so much advise on what do in the area. The hotel is stunning - so beautiful inside with so much character. It feels like you've stepped into another world. The food is incredible....
