Cold and hungry on a Sunday afternoon at 5 pm, it was bliss to find The Old Inn serving food. It is a lively, popular "local", with friendly staff. As a couple of vegetarians it was manna from heaven to find a bean curry on the menu. Rather obscurely it came with melted cheese on the top, but it tasted...

Stopped as was shattered after a lot of walking. So pleased! Food was gorgeous - vegetarian curry so tasty. Atmosphere great. Friendly, local pub. Scenery lovely. Well worth a visit - and dogs allowed, we don't have any, but great to see them being allowed in.

Had a great family lunch in between Christmas & new year, pub was busy - great atmosphere. Food was delicious, amazing venison curry & great Skye burger for the grown ups, fish & chips with peas for one little one and egg & chips for the other ( this was off menu but they were happy to accommodate). Good selection...

Do yourselves a favour and have a meal here! Great food, staff, atmosphere and location. The best fish and chips I've ever had and the chilli and lasagne were also brilliant. Wish we had time to go back.

Very friendly pub that has a really nice atmosphere. Stayed in the lodge for 3 nights and the rooms were clean and comfortable and good value. Great local music every night when we stayed but not sure if that's every night. Had 3 meals here and all were good. Even the haggis strudel which didn't sound that nice to me,...

Stayed here as a couple on Saturday 5th Nov. I booked in advance using their website. The price for a double room was £90. Our room was good. it looked as if it had been recently renovated. Clean and had everything I needed. we had a small issue with hot water but it was sorted for us within 5mins of...

We stopped by here after a long walk at the fairy pools for a very late lunch, hoping they did good food and allowed dogs in. We were not disappointed! My husband and sister had the beef burgers, and I had the spicy bean. They were all delicious, and were extremely generous portions, although if I was being really picky...

Great little pub holding all the traditional values that were expected. The welcome was warm and we where seated and waited on in no time. The food was well presented and on good time. The high priced value for a family of four was expected when miles from anywhere and in a tourist hot spot. One little error was that...

Had a really nice cup of coffee so we decided to stop in later for food. Big Mistake - we both had a burger (one venison, one beef) both dry and tasteless, the bread roll was rock solid, at least a couple of days old. Only redeeming factor was the chips that came with the burger otherwise it would be...

We went for a lunch time meal on Tuesday and the food was lovely. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this inn. It is very handy when visiting the taliskar distillery
