We were here with a travel group. The staff is realy very friendly. The rooms are ok But we got a group travel menu. And we were still hungry after that meal We got only a small plate of salad After that we got a small plate of penne pasta. Which is enough for small people. But not for a big man They didnt asked or we wanted more After that a super small piece of icecream Sorry if you serve a group Meal and serve such a little bit !!!!!!!It take the name Of your hotel down !!!!!!! If you make such a small meal for groups. Dont take groups anymore It spoils the name of your place However the staff is very friendly I will never remember your hotel as good And one more point There are not enough sprinklers in your hotel This is very dangerous Especially on the third flour I hope you will improve this. But you lost us as a future guest

The hotel is located in the city center, nice if you want to stroll around. It is a classic hotel, that may need a touch of refreshment. Allegedly the German novelist Karl May, the "father" of Winnetou, stayed here at a time. The parking at the hotel is limited, so if you are late you may end up looking for a parking spot in the neighboring streets. Please take note that there are limitations on the parking square in the front on market days, you must leave by 8AM.

let's start with sth positive: they allow pets in the hotel, but for sure this should not be the excuse for leaving everything dirty and run down. the hotel could be very beautiful, a nice old building located in the historic city center of a sleepy but beautiful east german village, it just urgently needs to be renovated and cleaned (don't enter the restrooms on the ground floor, too shocking - just check out the pics taken in our room, absolutely disgusting!!!). the room service essentially does not exist, our rooms were not made. the breakfast is a joke, like a time capsule bringing us back to the ddr. apparently they also lack enough staff, the 1 kid in charge had to fill the coffee for each guest in advance in little portions and was totally overwhelmed when we asked for more coffee... another interesting experience: if you have a problem in the middle of the night (a room door did not unlock), there is NOBODY in the hotel to help you, and nobody picks up the 'emergency phone'. 100€ per night is a ridiculous price for this hotel. uh, btw: the credit card machine is broken - cash only!!! let's hope they will change the management soon, otherwise this place may join the (unfortuately) long list of closing shops and hotels in the beautiful part of germany!!!

The hotel is nicely located on a market area and the rooms are large but old fashion with dusty old carpets. I liked the breakfast buffet which is arranged well with a good range of tasty food. Service is fine.

I was here for business for one night. I had a room on the top floor (top floor rooms have a big balcony with a beautiful view. Rooms below the top floor don't have a balcony, but are bigger). The rooms are pretty big and have a nice bathroom and big closets. The people working here are very friendly. Restaurant and bar were also very good.
