I was actually moved to write this review as I saw it had recently gotten a pretty brutal 1 star review. This is actually the first time I have written a review for a hotel! Anyway, I found to the Vital to be a wonderful place to stay. I'm not sure what was going on in the previous review, but I found the staff very friendly and helpful....in fact in the first 'wave' of the pandemic I found they put in place adequate safety measures that were not stressful to experience. Also, this hotel is rather like a Disney castle or something. And the breakfast - although admittedly not cheap - is superb! I am on the road a lot due to my work and this hotel is my favourite to stay at by a country mile - very comfortable, beautiful surroundings and excellent food. I'd suppose the only downside is that its not super cheap (especially the food) but...you get what you play for! Love this place.

Very uncomfortable stay, during a global pandemic you would expect some extra touch and or policies to make guests feel extra safe and at ease. Nothing at all, no evidence of sanification or signs of it. No control whatsoever of number of people in spa area. Once raised this points to the Manager we have been told that if we are not feeling comfortable we could leave! That’s not hospitality! No air conditioning in the room. Staff in general very untrained coffee served without sugar, no croissants or pastries for breakfast. Stay away if you can, better places around.

I have seen quite some hotels and sadly none of them give the service this hotel is offering their guests! Awesome ... The suite/room is very spacious, dinner-breakfast everything you can imagine and spa as you would expect from a 5*premium hotel. We will come back, that’s a promise 😉

The Meiser Complex has some very nice features - old style hotel, dancing hall, boutique hotel, spa. Entering the old style Hotel and moving towards the reception, it is sort of a show room - well, we liked it (a bit (;-). Its in no way a standard Hotel, many types of design and architectural styles - inside and out. Pink bar with same lights - you will have to love it. All in all - a experience !

The food was fantastic ... much better than any hotel restaurant we have tried so far in Bayern. The rooms, atmosphere and pool/sauna was 10X better than Four Seasons, Austin, TX at a 1/3 of the price.
