I spent 2 days in this hotel very clean very comfortable rooms and staff very friendly and helpful I enjoyed my staying in Postumia Hotel thank you . Very charming place near Verona quiet and clean. Most importantly was very clean rooms.
This hotel operated by a very nice accommodating family is very nice. They speak English and was very helpful. The airport is about a mile away and easy to get to. The Old City is a little bit tricky to get to by car but you can always take a bus there with no hassle. The rooms were comfortable and large with Air conditioning and desk etc. Breakfast was great with lot to pick from (meats, breads, cereal, cheese, pastry, juice, caffe (all kinds) etc. You will not be disappointed with your stay there. There are restaurants within walking distance as well. Shuttle service, free wifi and free/secured parking. I would absolutely stay there again. Thank you to the family who owns this establishment.
Loved this hotel - quiet, clean, friendly owners, perfect beddings. They offer buffet breakfast for 7euro per person. They have vegan options which was great ❤️ A few minutes away from the center via car and with a couple of restos nearby.
The hotel is located just outside Verona and if you want to visit Verona from there, it is best to have your own car as the public bus service ends around 8:30 pm. For us it was ideal as there is free secured parking, a good breakfast, and comfortable beds. My score is 4.5 but as we cannot give half points, I erred on the positive side. The one slight drawback is that our room did not have a refrigerator. This is a family run hotel and they are friendly people. Definitely recommended.
After losing my 2nd mum to cancer in May I decided I needed a break, I had planned to take a trip to Italy for my 50th which was last December so I decided let’s do it. After searching the internet for a package holiday and reading many reviews I decided I would book my hotel and flight separately. Flight was easy Jet2 to Verona not exactly where I wanted to be, I was thinking more Sardinia beach etc. Anyhow the flight was pretty cheap so only thing to do now book a hotel. After searching for several days, I decided to book Hotel Postumia, one of the things that really attracted me apart from the reviews was the fact it was a family run small hotel just what I wanted. I booked for 7 days from 11th-18th July, once we arrived at Verona airport also known as Valerie Catullo airport, we called the hotel and was picked up by our driver. We arrived at the hotel just before kick-off England v Croatia I was quite tired so we decided to watch the match in our room. We ordered room service pizza and a bottle of prosecco which came very quickly I was impressed, the room was very clean not huge but big enough, nice bathroom shower etc and wardrobe the beds were comfy I slept like a baby. In the morning we went down to breakfast I don’t eat meat or have much dairy, I mainly had bread or bread rolls with cheese and lots of fruit especially apricots which I had not really eaten that much before. There were cold meats, muesli, fresh juice, pastries croissants etc. They have a nice quiet garden, I spent a lot of time in the garden on the covered swing or at a table under an umbrella I was so relaxed. The area is quiet, and I felt safe going out in the night in the garden for a cigarette. The bus stop is opposite takes you into the town centre or the bus/ rail station depending on where or what you want to do. The journey was around 20 mins, to be honest I’m not exactly sure but around that time who was checking I was on holiday. We went to Lake Garda and Venice by train was lovely but extremely hot, also spent a lot of time in the town centre restaurants galore my taste buds were in overdrive. Verona is a very friendly place I had an amazing trip. I would definitely recommend this place in fact I will go back at some point, the staff were so lovely the mum Patricia was so kind she has my middle name which is why I have not forgotten, daughter Chiara spoke very good English, the father was also very friendly didn’t speak much English but we used our google app to communicate so that was fine, bless him he knew I liked to sit outside so always made up a table for me and made sure I didn’t get burnt to a crisp. He also repaired my friend’s suitcase her zip was broken he fixed it for her thanks so much. Finally, the boyfriend also didn’t speak much English, but we could still communicate he took us to the airport on our last day. Perfect location especially from the airport, and the bus takes you straight into town. Thank you all at Hotel Postumia, we had a wonderful time and I truly had a very relaxing stress-free holiday.
