Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good Hotel!! The Service is nice and kind. They done the rooms up good (apart from the dining room). The lounge and Tu Tu Tango were sound. Good Craic and fun in it. Had great food and drink. In april it closed again after a return for a few months. Only Tutu tango and the lounge were back. It's diner was in BAD shape and messy. Please re open again for a 3rd time White Horse Hotel soon!!!😀😀😀

Just visited Tutu Tango tapas bar at the White Horse Hotel. It was top class, good as we had have anywhere in the world. It is well worth a visit. We had tortilla, pratas & salmon. They have created a nice Spanish ambiance.

The hotel is centrally located and looks quite nice from the outside. Inside it is in need of an overhaul. It is an old traditional hotel in need of refurbishment and rooms are perhaps priced to reflect that, but other things are less acceptable. When there we found the lady on reception to be quite unfriendly. When we arrived in our room, there were half used shower gel bottles in the shower and generally the level of upkeep was poor. The young man on the bar downstairs was very friendly and courteous and the bar food was reasonably good, but all in all, even considering the low price there is a great deal of room for improvement. On a more positive note, I have since learned that it is under new management. Hopefully they take heed of the comments here. However I have heard several people comment recently that they had tried to phone to book rooms but they gave up as the phone was not answered.
