This inn is just off the M4. The village is small and quaint with a beautiful church. There is some motorway noise in the distance but inside the Neeld arms nothing of this is heard. A friendly and comfortable stay with a good menu, delicious and well presented. A good ambiance. We had a huge room in the attic with...

This was our second stay at the Neeld Arms and was for just one Saturday night. We booked in advance as the rooms and dinner tables seem to be reserved well in advance. rooms are comfortable although could do with a little love and attention on paintwork, grout etc (although being so old this can add to the charm in...

Booked an overnight stay at this pub as we were off to Castle Combe Circuit the next day. Arrived just before 5pm....it was closed but we found an open door! The landlord met us & dealt swiftly with our booking, showed us to our room & told us the meal times etc. It would be a late-ish breakfast as it...

Very traditional pub in the pretty village of Grittledon, we stayed over Easter weekend with our dog. Nice comfortable rooms and great location. We dined here on the first evening and the food was excellent, all freshly made and much nicer than the usual pub food and not expensive. Good choice of wine and again not expensive and good hearty...

Stayed here for one night on a weekend mini break to enjoy the good weather and escape London. It surpassed my expectations and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a little country break. Grittleton is picturesque and beautiful, the inn is opposite the huge Manor House and next to a cute little church - the only things in the village...

Very friendly pub where we were made to feel extremely welcome. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable room, unlimited tea and coffee available in the room. Pub had a great atmosphere with lots of locals and their dogs calling in. Food was fantastic and of a reasonable price. Great breakfast and really friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely...

Fantastic food, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great. All local food freshly made. Although the pub was very busy the food came in good time, service with a lovely smile. Lovely and clean.

We caught up with friends for dinner here on Saturday night and the menu was small but everyone found something that they liked. The service and beer was great and was great value for money. Fantastic atmosphere and typical English hospitality. If you are in these neck of the woods drop in for a beer or 2,

We stayed at The Neeld Arms for one night recently and received a warm welcome. We had a main meal and a drink before we (the dog stayed free for the night) retreated to the lovely four poster bed they had given us. The bed was cosy and clean and the bathroom was clean although I need notice the lino...
