We had stayed in room 7 which was a large room and fairly nice although my partner had badly cut his toe on glass that was left in the room. We had booked for afternoon tea which was lovely but after taking the order for glass of bubble which was sparkling wine they had completely forgotten. Had to remind them...

My partner and I were attending an event in Glasgow but didn't really fancy staying in the city centre. After looking about a bit on the Internet found a deal on a discount website for this hotel. As we had arrived a bit later than anticipated on the Friday night we decided just to eat in the hotel restaurant, and...

Tea and coffee where available in the room ( although there was no coffee left just empty sachets). The room I...

Where to begin? Booked for three nights stayed for one. Young staff left to attend whole hotel, they did well considering. Room was shabby, curtains wrinkled and looked like gonna fall from windows, three lamps but only one bulb, which they couldn't replace. Sweet packet lying on floor and a few stray sweets. Kettle in room not working, only one...

On arrival we were welcomed and given key to our room (Room No 2) which was large and airy with a large en suite, king size comfortable bed, flat screen tv etc. On the whole this hotel is very pleasant with an impressive dining room. The staff were very friendly. Our evening meals on both nights were quite delicious with...

My wife and I stayed for 10 nights over the New Year period visiting Ayrshire for a sad family reason. The staff knew why we were there and could not have been more friendly, accommodating and sympathetic, they really helped make a sad trip more pleasant and bearable. The hotel is an older style place, but the room was clean,...

Stayed for one night (Sunday) as part of groupon deal. The restaurant area seems to be the only modern part of hotel. What let's this place down is the lack of attention to detail and lack of service. On arrival, checked in fine and told where room was. In room (which was good size) we had bed, wardrobe, en suite...
