Warm and welcoming and family run, Vergina Beach Hotel does not disappoint. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with lovely rooms and wonderful views over Agia Marina Beach. You can relax by the pool or by the beach bar or on the safe sandy beach next to warm blue waters. The food is reasonably priced and delicious and the staff are friendly, efficient and happy to accommodate individual requests. I was so sorry to leave; I think I have left part of me there. Thank you Vergina for giving such gifts.

Hotel's Favourite
I came to Crete as a solo female traveler and have never felt safer at this boutique hotel. I am blown away by their incredible staff, they are the most hospitable people I’ve ever met. My experience could not have been better. I was graciously upgraded to a rooftop room with incredible sea views. Their breakfast was top notch and their bartender worked extremely hard to make sure their service was 10/10. All of the staff here are committed to making your stay the best experience you’ve ever had. I will 100% be staying here next time I’m in Chania. If you’re wondering if you should book this hotel, this is your sign to do it!! You will not regret it !

Everything was exceptional. Starting with a very warm welcome when we arrived and ending with a very nice gift when we checked out, during the whole time we really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, close to very nice restaurants and bus stop to Chania (15-20 minutes ride). The views are amazing, especially the sunsets. The beach is clean and very well organized and the drinks in the beach bar are very tasty. Room was nice and clean and the breakfast was huge and delicious. We really recommend this place to all travelers looking for comfort and warm atmosphere.

We stayed here as part of a “make it up as you go last minute trip”. Firstly the hotel was very accommodating in finding a room for us at short notice. The check in process was remarkably straight forward, easy and quick. The room spotlessly clean, with a large balcony, walk in shower which had great water pressure (quite unusual for Greece), good quality toiletries. The bed had excellent bedding and was super comfy. The ladies who look after the rooms are cheerful and meticulous in their duties. The pool bar has a terrace which overlooks the beach, this is a great spot and where breakfast is served. Breakfast has an extensive choice with a great choice of fresh fruit. The pool bar is managed very well by an extremely helpful gentlemen who goes above and beyond. The beach is well maintained and kept very clean. Sometimes you don’t find out how good a hotel is until you have a problem. We had a minor issue with a loose toilet seat; an engineer appeared and repaired it almost immediately - fantastic service! Unfortunately not through any fault of the hotel we had to leave 2 nights early (our mistake); the hotel were extremely helpful in an unusual set of circumstances. Overall a great hotel with the best view of the sea and beach with the best service and people!

Room Tip: The rooms at the back with a sea view are probably the best

We stayed at this hotel during the busiest time of the year after a year of isolation, fear and insecurity.. what a treat that was! We were welcomed from day 1! All people, staff and owners , made us feel as part of the family! They served us the best food and cocktails by the beach and the beach bar (thank you Angelo, Maria and Yiannis) and they gave us the best tips about places to visit and restaurants to taste the most amazing Cretan food and scenery! The front part of the hotel is brand new with very comfortable and very cleverly designed rooms, most of them overlooking the sea and the amazing sunsets! There is a small pool at the front and a smaller on the side (perfect for small kids), but the big advantage of the location is that the beach is right at the front of the hotel without the need to use a car or crossing the busy roads! Lots of activities to do at the beach for kids and adults too! It was an excellent choice for us and our friends and we will definitely visit this place again, when we decide to come back to this magical part of Crete! Thank you very much guys!!!
