Easter Island is expensive - if you're used to 5-star hotels, you'll feel you're not getting a lot for your money. If you're used to backpacking, you'll feel you're getting ripped off. Not so - it's simply very expensive - every single thing you eat drink or use on this island has been shipped there. Bicky and her daughters are... More

Great experience!!! A wonderful place to enjoy all the beauty of Easter Island. Simple but extremely clean, quiet, great ocean view, short walk to Tahai and also to some individual moais, easy walk to town and the best sunsets we have ever seen, just from our porch. Great people, owners and staff. Starting with our first e mail contact they... More

I was here 5 nights and it was a pleasant stay. I thought the location had good points and bad points – it is a 10 minute walk to the bottom of the main street and this gets a bit tedious, but it is on the north side of town and the Tahai archaeological sites and the museum are nearby,... More

We rented two rooms for six days and had a wonderful time at the Mana Nui Inn. Exequiel (one of the owners) was very quick and thorough answering my emails and queries I had before going to Easter Island. We were punctually picked up at the airport by his daughter, Patricia who also helped us whenever we needed any type... More

My partner and I stayed with another couple. I agree with the other posting comments. The transfers to/from the airport were good (although this is a standard with all hotels), the rooms were suitable, the views and location were great, you were close enough to town to walk, but far enough away that you felt some seclusion and the price... Most things said in previous reviews (apart from the more extreme ones) are correct. Good location with nice views, generally proper rooms (though you might come across the occasional dead or living cockroach in front of your room), good breakfeast,. no internet access, a bunch of noisy roosters in surrounding houses, 15-20 min walk to the "city center", very short... I was met at the airport by a german girl, but it did not matter; I speak german very well. There was not much information about the city or the Mana Nui Inn during the trip to the hotel. The hotel was much longer away from the city than I had expected. I got a "cabina" in the end of... More

We flew to Easter Island on a Tuesday morning. As promised via e-mail, we were met at the airport for the short ride to the Manu Nui Inn. On the way, Patricia pointed out favorite restaurants and other notable spots in town. Our room was framed by hibiscus and other flowering bushes. It was tidy and had everything we needed.... More

Ditto to the "charming inn review" and most of the others except for the people who seemed to have so many problems. A friend and I stayed 5 days loved everything about Easter Island: a truly unique experience. We recommend staying, touring, re-visiting places. We did take tours with a local tour company which we had arranged via e-mail. We... More

If you want to truly experience Easter Island, I highly recommend staying at the Mana Nui inn. I traveled by myself to Easter Island for a 5 night stay, after making room arrangements online with Mana Nui Inn owner, Bicky, two months in advance. Sure enough, when I walked out of the airport in Hanga Roa, Bicky's daughter Patricia was... More
