Thermal pools set in the beautiful Tuscan coubtryside. 14 euros. A great day trip from siena. We caught the bus from Piazza Gramsci, about 30 min. Then a 20 minute walk from the town of Rapolano to the pools. 1 warm outdoor pool, and a smaller, hotter pool indoors. Nice cafe too and a quiet area for relaxation next to...

While touring Tuscany we needed some time out. It gets hectic travelling the countryside. The thermal baths were ideal. The pools are clean and the grounds are spacious. Change rooms were also clean. Take your bath robe. It's cool to wear them at San Giovanni Terme.

My mother and I both work full time in London and live very busy lives. We are in Umbria on a four day break. We decided to visit a spa for some rest and relaxation, for the day. Well, relax we did! This place is spotlessly clean and very well designed and laid out. There are four pools that vary...

It's a combination of antique building with very contemporary updates. The breakfast room is funky fun. The dining room excellent and common areas for lounging or using the computer are very comfortable. Rooms are very quaint with small bathrooms. But the real joy is to be out in the gardens and pools. Very nice experience.

We weren't sure what to expect, so we had in mind not to stay more than an hour. So we arrived at 5 pm and at 7 when they told us they would close we didn't want to leave. 3 pools, different water temperatures, but perfect for the chilly weather outside, beautiful view. Definitely recommend for at least half of...

Lovely hotel with great pools. Really great massage in the spa. Average food but it is very cheap for dinner. I would fully recommend this for a day or two, think beyond that could be a bit boring though.

One of our adult children really wanted to visit a hot spring. We stopped here on a Friday evening. At 1900 the price is reduced and quite frankly 90-120 minutes is plenty. There are 3 pools of natural spring fed water of different temperatures but b ed ready for the sulfur smell (rotten egg like). It did make us decide...

We went here for the dinner, jazz and candlelight Friday night summer special. The food was fairly ordinary and bland but the music and view in the restaurant were lovely. We enjoyed the steamy pools (especially when we could grab a jet! And there was a little waterfall area which gave a great height pressure massage. We were glad we...

Wonderful place to relax! I came here with some family members during mid July and stayed for the day. The facilities are very clean and beautiful! The thermal baths were so relaxing, both indoors and outdoors, and I felt so rejuvenated and organic at the end of the day! It's a great activity for all ages, and you can even...

Dreamlike atmosphere in a thermae location with five different pools surrounded by beautifully kept gardens. Private pools are spacious and well-kept, while public ones are more crowded and noisy. Great Spa services. Also, for those in need of therapeutic treatments, the medical check up is free. Bathrooms (although undersized and somewhat hidden) and changing rooms were clean. Receptionists were friendly,...
