We really enjoyed our meal at The Maynard. The food was delicious, with plenty of choice, including lots of vegan/vegetarian options. We were very well looked after by Kate and Abi. We weren’t rushed at all, it was a lovely relaxed afternoon. The outside area is spacious and the tables have been spread out well. It was very dog friendly, so our dog enjoyed herself too! We would definitely return for a meal here again.

Our servers were abi and Kate who were amazing. They checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed, super friendly and the food was stunning!!! Only comment would be my dad and grandad was unhappy with selection of bitters but everything else was superb.

My family and I adore The Maynard! Absolutely perfect for summer/garden days drinks and lovely for a nice evening meal. My parents, my best friend and I went for a meal and were served by the amazing Kate - she was very attentive and ensured we were never wanting for anything! Rob and the team are all so lovely, the food and service just tops it off. Always a great experience

What a fantastic time we had. The food was amazing, delicate flavors throughout that had been carefully though out, a menu that has something for everyone. Our servers, Katie & Abi, we’re beyond 5 star! We live in between London and Sheffield and we really cannot wait to come again. Well done guys you have just secured yourselves two loyal regulars! This is a MUST on anyone’s list of places to go in the Peak District.

Oh my gosh, what a find! Have never been here before and WHY HAVEN'T I BEEN COMING ALL MY LIFE. Not only was it so nice to be out again, the garden was lovely, the food super tasty and the service personal and speedy (I manage a restaurant and would have happy hired both the girls looking after us). Big shout out to Kate and Abi.. They knew what we wanted before we had to ask and made it such a pleasurable experience. Would happily (and have already) shout about this to all my pals and will certainly be back even if just for the platter of desserts and fizz!
