This B&B exceeded our expectations in all areas. We had a room directly overlooking Loch Ness, which is a minute's walk away. The landlord was pleasant and helpful without being intrusive. The room was extremely spacious, warm and meticulously clean. All furnishing is new. Our sleep was unperturbed, this little village is a lovely place. We definitely would like to...

We were very impressed with the size and cleanliness of our room and the excellent breakfasts that were cooked to order. We are vegetarian and were well satisfied with the menu. You can tell that John and Glen have made every effort to make Pottery House a quality experience and even their green credentials make the mark. The owners were...

Sometimes you choose a B&B because of a nice website and you turn out a bit disappointed. When it comes to Pottery House, the opposite is a fact! Everything exceeded our expectations. Spacious and very nicely decorated rooms with everything we could possible need - and more. Our room had a great view over the loch and the mountains. We...

Myself and my girlfriend recently stayed at Pottery House for a quick one-night getaway and it was lovely! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the information that they provided was very useful. We ate down the road at the Dores Inn which was great (have the partridge if it's on the specials!!). Overall, a fantastic place to stay...

Excellent attention to detail. Very good information pack. Some lovely finishing touches (ie. homemade jam. fresh eggs, jug of milk and iced water in fridge, make your own muesli!) Not sure about logging on to choose your bread roll! Very nice breakfast - not greasy, beautiful presented and perfect portion size. Excellent food at local pub.

"Not sure about logging on to choose your bread roll! " Each morning we serve freshly baked rolls with breakfast, very popular with our guests. We make different rolls each morning, some mornings granary, some wholemeal, maple and oatmeal, spelt and bulgar wheat, wholemeal and polenta, just to give a bit of variety for people staying more than one night....

The rooms are large and airy ,spacious and clean. Little extra in the rooms are thoughtful, as is the information pack on places to visit. We were there in March but would imagine that in the warmer months relaxing in the garden with the view of Loch ness would be a pleasure. benefits from having a very good restaurant very...

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a fantastic stay at this cozy, quaint little cottage. Despite the extreme cold and getting our car stuck in the snow, we loved our stay in Loch Ness thanks in large part to the warm friendly atmosphere at Pottery House. The room was very nicely decorated and the ensuite was large and clean. Breakfast was...

We visited the Highlands in the winter specifically so that our 15 year old daughter could experience snow for the very first time - we found it in abundance and we were blessed with incredible natural beauty. Pottery House is an excellent location. Quite close to Inverness and situated overlooking Loch Ness, it is a good base for traveling out...

Lovely large room with good en-suite. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice and homemade bread and jams. Set in peaceful village on the banks of Loch Ness only 10-15 minutes from Inverness. Would recommend the Dores Inn for evening meal. We stayed 2 nights and dined there both nights. Good location for places of interest in the surrounding area. Would...
