A beautiful, quaint hotel minutes from the town centre. Family owned and a warm, homey feel of old Spain. Would love to go in winter. Went there to teach at a Yoga retreat just outside of town. Close to great cafes and restaurants. Loved it!

We stumbled across the city of Montefrio while cruising between Granada and Malaga. We were charmed by the city and found this clean and comfortable hotel. If our schedule hadn't been so tight, we would certainly have spent more time here.

If this hotel was completely modernised it would lose its charm. However it would benefit from some soundproofing - particularly if it takes bookings from young noisy families who are oblivious to other guests needs for relaxation! We spent a lot of time in the hotel as the weather was so bad. Luckily the room was comfortable enough and very...

Very difficult to find! My GPS didn't recognise the address. Worth finding though. Good wine served with good tapas. The dinner was too big a serving! Not something I normally say. Service was slow due to timing our dinner with weddings, despite this the staff worked hard to be quick. Overall a great place to which I'd return.

3 of us spent a night here during a cycle tour, it was a second stay after a similar visit in 2008. La Enrea is in a nice quiet location about 10 mins walk from the charming town centre, and is adjacent to a couple of pleasant walks giving access to superb viewing points over the town. Our rooms were...

I had an excellent restful holiday. English speaking staff were friendly and helpful. The food not pretentious but delicious. The place was clean and quiet. The village and the countryside are beautiful. A great place for a chilled out break. I loved it.

Overall, the hotel is very nice and clean. However, the air conditioner was broken in our room, and we were told they did not have a room with a working air condition. The ceiling fan was also broken, and the weather was quite hot when we arrived. The staff was very accommodating in providing a fan. Because we were leaving...

It is a small family owned business. The people are friendly and very accommodating. If it is good weather, eat in the patio outside, preferably barbecue. It is a nice hotel for hiking and cycling in the beautiful region between Cordoba and Granada. I have been there 4 times and it keeps growing on me.

Booked a room for a Monday in February, informed restaurant closed but assured some were open in village. On arrival, checked with restaurants and all were closed in the evening. Hotel did not offer any form of food, so checked out and moved on. Hotel asks you to pay up-front, a bad sign - and now I know why!

The staff in nice and helpful (at least if you speak Spanish). I am not sure about the foreign language skill of the staff. The hotel in not luxurious at all, it is quite simple, but it is in a nice small town between Cordoba and Granada and very convenient for us that own a bike tour company. I eat...
