SB is a peaceful gem of a place, well worth visiting after a long dusty journey between Jaipur and Jodhpur. Service is good although the dining is set apart from the accommodation - but this adds to its mystique. All very friendly, good food and very laid back. One of the nicest poolside areas.

Arrived here after long dusty journey to a lush green oasis staff can't do enough and owner is a delightful lady who meets and greets her guests regularly throughout your stay. The rooms are heritage and regal but have all amenities. Nice and roomy. It's the grounds that make you fall in love, poolside idyllic. Then bike rides to the...

After a lengthy drive of about 5 hours from Udaipur, we found Shahpura Bagh a tranquil, calm location. The hotel is effectively two buildings; one where most of the rooms seem to be located and the other serving as the family's private residence and also the guest dining room. It was a quiet time of the season but this added...

A little gem in the middle of Rajasthan. Off the beaten track. More of a boutique hotel or Wolseley Lodge. It is a private hotel and the owners are charming and could not be more helpful. The food was good and I would recommend doing the 2 tours offered - in the morning and evening. You see parts of India...

Peaceful and relaxing, nature trails to explore, a hotel with history and soul, thoughtful service, well prepared food. We were there for only 24 hours but other activities were offered for longer stays.

This is my third stay at Shahpura Bagh and I can only hope to return! This unique, tranquil stop off piont, between Jaipur and Udaipur, allowed us to unwind during our hectic Indian tour. The setting is on a large estate with two lakes and a lovely walking trail. The grounds team with bird life, the bedroom suite was beautiful,...

A great stop while touring Rajasthan with a warm welcome by the royal family. on their estate . A beautiful pool surrounded by nice gardens that becomes the gathering place in the evening for all the guests to sip a drink before heading for dinner. Always very attentive and friendly staff.
