The Belvedere Hotel is very good and is in a great location. Belvedere is approximately 10 miles / 16 km from Ypres (Leper) and stands on a hillside close to the border with France. The panoramic vistas from the rooms on the 2nd floor are amazingly picturesque. The hotel is clean and tidy in all areas, however one problem let...

What a fantastic location and view (from the rooms at the front). As a 4th generation family built & run hotel, you get care and attention from the owners. The room we had (room 2) was bright and airy, with a modern bathroom. The quality & quantity of the dinner was very good. Some minor points to consider. Walls are...

Decided to bring a group of Friends of St Mary's, Kent UK this time and we stayed here for 2 nights. Pierre, Dorothy and Frederic were excellent hosts. Pierre is the owner and Dorothy his wife. Frederic is the son so a...

Great, large room with balcony, excellent for cyclists. Very good food. Only snag is that cycling in from Ypres, we followed the sign to Belvedere - which directed us straight up the 17% cobbled Kemmelberg only to find it was the Belvedere Restaurant Kemmelberg and not Belvedere Hotel Rodeberg (which is a much kinder hill only 12% and smooth tarmac!)....

The hotel is not in Westouter. About 2 miles outside the town so do a bit of research first!! Very little sound from the adjacent road. Get a room at the front (We had rooms 7 and 8) for large balconies with far-reaching views over the countryside. Excellent bathroom and the rooms are large and clean. Dining at the hotel...

Great value hotel. Family room consisted of 3 singles and it was very clean. A STUNNING view over the Belgian plain towards Lille from the most excellent, well appointed balcony. NO tea facilities (as expected) but glasses were provided for the obligatory evening bottle of wine! Hotel restaurant is closed on Thursdays but they recommended the "Den Heksestoel" in Loker...
