We booked on line with Agoda and when we arrived found that it was a contactless check in. No explanation on how to access the room. Ended up calling the after hours number but of course the mobile reception is not great. Very poor arrival experience. Rooms spacious and modern and relatively clean. Just a few ants and spiders in the room. Fridge wasn’t clean. Very peaceful sleep and great views. (Nice pillows) Complimentary continental breakfast. Stale pastries. Terrible orange juice. Apple juice was okay. Want a decent coffee it’s available and quite nice but it is not included. Reasonable but just no atmosphere.

We chose Clouds Montville for a 4 night stay, 7 chose a motel style unit with panoramic views out to Caloundra. The room was very spacious for a couple, with bedroom & living areas separate. There was a microwave & electric frypan available for meal preparation, & plenty of crockery & cooking implements, however, we chose to eat out or buy takeaways. The cafe on site provided the included breakfast, which although continental had plenty of options and quantity, however did not provide other meals, just sandwiches, rolls, wraps and cakes. The bed was very comfortable. Clouds has lovely, extensive & well maintained gardens, & a large pool area. Montville & Maleny & the surrounding areas are very picturesque, with lots of activities, shops,boutiques, wineries, restaurants and bush walks. We really enjoyed our stay.…

Stayed here for three nights recently. Beautiful location with spectacular views and well appointed accommodation. I'd definitely stay here again. Great breakfast. The only criticism I could make is that there is no hot place in the rooms to cook on. Other than that it was great.

Was such a lovely stay with great rooms. We had complimentary breakfast every morning. Heaters everywhere as it was very cold at the time. This will be our family go to place. Staff were very by nice and polite 😊

Stayed for 3 nights. Lovely clean modern room, modern amenities. Very comfortable bed (probably the best hotel bed I’ve slept in for a long time. Quiet and private. Friendly helpful staff. Close drive to Montville. Only downside was breakfast. They don’t offer full continental breakfast here unfortunately. Full breakfast is offered at Clouds “Big Barrel”. Went here on our last morning, had to pay for cooked breakfast, not extra but fully pay, only for it to be a bit disappointing … menu said cooked to order, not a chance, bacon was precooked in an oven, poached eggs on both our meals were rock hard. Partners spinach on his eggs Bennie were just leaves tossed on a plate. However, this was the ONLY fault. Would recommend Clouds anytime! Great place to stay

New clean accommodation that was very comfortable for the money. We were just passing through. Breakfast for four included at the Barrel restaurant and it was a lovely start to the day. So hard to find places we love. We will be back!!

While the room is acceptable it was disappointing to find that breakfast was included only if we were to drive 7.5km to another of their sites. This means naturally that we had to check out and leave to get any food in the morning: entirely unacceptable for us as we had no way or desire to drive back to the room after breakfast. This was not made clear at time of booking.
