Unique boat-shaped pub located on Bembridge harbour with 5 all new ensuite cabins (in 2012), all beautifully appointed, above pub which was completely refurbished in 2011 and serving all fresh, made in house pub food, including homemade burgers, fish pie, local crab salad and fresh off the boat fish. Also sofas, roaring fire, piano, beer, three outside terraces and attractive friendly staff.

Popped in for an evening meal last week while on the island for 2 days, average menu, basic tables and chairs need a good clean, total lack of atmosphere and just 1 member of staff, meal just alright . Nothing to get excited about .

Hi, thanks for your review, difficult to answer as specifics not given, however cleanliness wise it is cleaned and scrubbed every day, but perhaps there was something remiss, please let us know. As far as meal concerned not sure what you mean by average menu but 14 different items, lots of fresh fish, everything made and produced in house and general excellent reviews!
