An excellent inn / hotel. I had the confidence to take my boss and his wife to the Old Mill and we were not let down. The following week, my wife joined me for a further week. The staff is professional, the rooms spotless and comfortable and the food quite superb. Really, an excellent stay. With my job, I frequent... More

Stayed there for business, nice clean rooms, pub/restaurant, which was attached was very busy even in a Tuesday and Wednesday night so advise to book. Nice food, friendly staff and location on a river bank, which, would be lovely on a nice day

Had a great couple of nights here. Could say that it was a little tired in places in the hotel and much could be done to boost its appearance and feel; having said that the service was so friendly and excellent that it didn't matter much. Great pub again with super service! Much better than expected from a Chef and... More

Front desk staff extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms spotless and comfy. View of the river from the room was wonderful. Had an excellent time in the restaurant. Food was amazing and the staff were great. Will definitely be going back. Location is great to base out of as there are lots of places to visit.

Been here a few times now and never had a bad meal, service is always great! Waiters/waitresses check on you often to see if everything's ok. Is right next to the river which is lovely in the summer, Would definitely recommend for any occasion.

Had an overnight stay here, car park huge, plenty of space. Staff on check in and check out very polite and helpful. Breakfast worth it too. Not much phone signal in the area though. Would stay again, rooms were good quality!

My wife and I booked this hotel based on it's tranquil and picturesque locality and the good restaurant reviews. We thought we would have a break away as I am due to go into hospital for a prostrate operation next week, and we are also celebrating our third wedding anniversary, having both been widowed we met and wed when we... Enjoyed an overnight stay here. Very late arrival but made welcome. Room was spacious and pleasantly warm. Bed was huge and comfortable. Asked for decaf coffee at reception and sachets for the room were forthcoming. Shower was good. Breakfast was only served until 9am - would have appreciated a little later! Went down about 8.30am and plenty of choice. Friendly... More

We chose the Old Mill because of its location, its ability to provide overnight accommodation but most importantly the availability of every item on the menu to all our guests. We had 24 guests in the "Grey Lady room" to help celebrate our Golden wedding. All we had to do was get the guests to pre order their requirements from... More
