The food has been amazing every time i have been here. There is a good choice of food on the menu. Prices are good. Staff are very friendly. I just love coming here for a family meal. They do a steak night, fish night etc.

We booked a table before hand. The menu was of a good variation and desserts. There was two parties in the restaurant that evening which were both very very noisy and we couldn't here one another talking, we paid the bill and left soon as.

Very Second World War decor. Outdated and drab. Food well cooked and served hot but very slow service. 1 3/4 hours for 3 courses! Regulars appear to get preferential service. Toilet needs renovating, loose tiles on floor.

Very good value for money 10.95 for a three course lunch including tea or coffee. Pleasant staff the room we were seated in was a little dated but clean. Family seated near us were celebrating a birthday lunch and even shared cake with us. Will visit again soon.

First visit here, not posh and glitzy. It was a Friday and to many "fish day". Would think 75% of the clients were eating fish and chips which looked delicious. Excellent quantity and quality for the Monday - Friday Pensioners's Special Menu. My friend and I both had a soft drink and 2 courses which was almost £17.00. We both...

Went for lunch with a friend on Wednesday 6th April. First visit and very suitably impressed. Did not realise how big the restaurant is and it was very busy. Greeted with a smile by a very nice young man who immediately showed us the way and took our drinks order. Had a two course pensioners deal and could not fault...
