Four of us spent a wonderful 2 night stay at Abbey Farm. A beautiful countryside setting overlooking glorious countryside, a lovely lake and a ruined Abbey. Both rooms were spacious and comfortable one with an ensuite and the other with a private bathroom. Full english breakfasts were excellent and nothing was to much trouble for the owners who even gave...

Excellent location and views. Bill Jenny and boys were so friendly, really went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Breakfasts were fantastic, rooms huge. We took over most of the breakfast room making cards bags and pictures. Intended using one of the bedrooms but Jenny said use the largest dining table. Brilliant customer service....

Enjoyed every second of it. Had a very personal feel and the owners recommended eating places, offered to drop us off and even ironed my shirt when I asked if they had an iron. That sort of service you just cannot get from chain hotels. Do have a wonder round the ruins of the monastery in the garden, it is...

Lovely friendly hosts in a beautiful part of the country. Great history and loved the story of the abbey and tunnels from the property. Brilliant breakfasts and spacious rooms - well connected to transport links. Jenny was really helpful to sort out things like taxis for the wedding we were attending

Myself and my family booked to stay as the accommodation option for a wedding near by. On arrival we drove down a pretty lane lined with daffodils and horses grazing and were greeted by our hosts and their grandchildren. The farm is a traditional higgledipiggldy shape house with big fireplaces and filled with antiques and interesting bits and bobs. The...

A lovely place to stay; its a beautiful old farmhouse ( with chickens , horses and all manner of wildlife). With views of Merevale Hall and a small lake at the front, it was delightful. The room was lovely with a great big comfy bed and separate (very large) bathroom. Breakfast was very tasty and set us up for the...

Great hosts friendly and helpful and a very good breakfast to start the day. A comfortable very large bedroom. In a good location with easy links to main roads and it seems like your way out in the country, yet close to town.
