Another stunning meal today. Superbly cooked steak & homemade chips! The flavours were incredible. I have never had such tasty grilled tomatoes either. The lager was chilled to perfection too. The meal arrived quickly and was piping hot, fresh from the kitchen. The chef is worth his weight in gold! Staff are extremely welcoming, polite, attentive and friendly. We travelled...

Just called in here on the off chance. Not heard of or been here before. Staff member greated us on walking through the door of the restraunt and found us a table straight away even though we hadn't booked.. Looking at this attractive quaint but spacious restraunt we were expecting prices for a Sunday lunch to be quite expensive but...

We just turned up around 2pm on a wet Sunday afternoon and they welcomed us and found a table straight away. The food was wonderful and plenty of it ! What we couldn't eat they packed it up for us to take home as there. The staff were so helpful and friendly really enjoyed our meal and love Abercrave :)

We hadn't been here before so it took us awhile to find. We were met quickly and politely and shown to our table. Although the place wasn't full it was busy, which is always a good sign. The menu was extensive with 6 starters and the main choices huge - beef, chicken, pork, lamb, salmon and beef and ale pie....

I am somewhat late writing this review, so apologies for that. We stayed at The Abercrave Inn last August. We found the Inn very accommodating and the staff very helpful, we arrived just before last orders for food, we were not rushed in any way and the food was a total delight. Our room was more than adequate, very comfortable...

The menus are tatty and the contents are non-seasonal and a little uninspiring. The vegetables were very over-cooked. Aside from that, it is pretty average pub grub. The service is nice and friendly. There are car park spaces, so no problem parking. It's not too bad, but there are places with much better food.

Decent room in the village of Abercrave. Great location for exploring the area. We have stayed here for two nights. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Room was located just across the Abercrave Inn. We had dinner on the first night. Staff pleasant and food was ok. Just across the road there is another pub. Really buzzy and...

Went here on a Sunday lunchtime and was really impressed. I had the beef Sunday lunch and my partner had the lamb, both really nice. Great quality food at a great price with really friendly staff. What more do you need . Why go to Toby when this place is so much nicer and it's cheaper as well
