Four of us dined here on Thursday evening and would highly recommend the hotel. The food was delicious and the staff courteous and friendly. The views are amazing looking over Loch Shiel. If you want a real 'Scottish' experience we would highly recommend the Glenfinnan House Hotel - deer heads on the walls on entering and a huge log fire.

Highly recommend lunch at the Glenfinnan House before hiking to the viaduct and trail. Food was delicious, as was the tea, and the host was kind enough to tell us the best path to take to the viaduct and beyond.

Our party of six arrived on a cool and at times wet September (2016) after noon after a full day of sight seeing around Inverness and were welcomed in the lobby by a glowing log fire with comfortable seating. After checking in a wee nip in front of the fire and then a short walk. Later had a great dinner...

Stayed here for a week in July with family & dog. A wonderful experience in an amazing location. A traditional country house hotel without TVs in rooms and log fires ready to warm you in the evenings, if required. A good bar which drws in some locals and an elegant sitting room to relax and read or just admire the...

We stayed for a night on September 19 and were treated to an outstanding Scottish experience. For Aussie children this former stately home was an education and a delight all in one! Would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed in Glenfinnan House with friends. Had a lovely room overlooking the Loch, very comfortable. It had lots of charm and the hallmarks of an old house with squeaky floorboards on the steps and interesting plumbing to add to the experience. The dinner was great and the breakfast was lovely. Nice walks around the area to catch up on...

This really is a wonderful hotel just full of atmosphere and character with the most stunning view and location. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming (as welcoming as the lovely roaring fire in the hall). The rooms (and we have stayed in a few different rooms) are comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Large bathrooms...

We stayed two nights and traveled by rail. Our hosts both picked us up and dropped us off at the station. Our room was cozy with a magnificent view of Loch Shiel. The breakfast and dinner was very good and the service was excellent. Within walking distance of the viaduct and the monument. Lovely!

Booked in advance with my partner , tucked into some yet again delicious food , the staff was very polite and friendly even recommended on dishes to have because we was spoilt for choice ! The prices are not cheap but you pay for the quality of the food which is of high standard and has been every time !...

My husband treated me to a overnight getaway to Glenfinnan house hotel . We've been many times for food but never stayed. The Jacobite suite is huge with a lovely four poster bed and en suite with a jacuzzi bath. The views are out of this world. The hotel had a lovely card waiting and chocolates from my favourite place...
