We stayed in Feudo Vagliasindi for sadly one night only. The location is absolutely beautiful, the main terrace faces Etna and the Olive groves. The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious but the dinner and Fausto wine was absolutely divine! We had a Wine tasting and Wine cellar tour and we also tried their Olive oil production, and loved it so much we bought a lot of bottles. I absolutely recommend this Wine residence for a traditional Sicilian experience! We will definitely be back again. Thank you Corrodo.
Every aspect of my stay at Feudo Vagliasindi was superb. Hospitality, food, vino, and the view of the surrounding area were simply terrific. Corrodo (co-owner) was welcoming, the staff attentive, and rooms very quiet and comfortable. Great for couples or families looking for few nights relaxing or exploring the north side of Etna. When we visit Sicily again, we will most definitely stay here.
Family owned. Beautiful surroundings and hotel. The owner was so gracious and went out of his way to make us comfortable. His manager Russal? was the most helpful cheerful did everything to make our stay *****. Restaurant food was exceptional. Plan to go back and stay for 5 days and total relaxation.
the hotel is a little off the beaten path and it faces the north-side of Mt Etna. it is pretty secluded and in a small town called Randazzo. it is a run B & B attached to a winery and run by two brothers. there is a wine cellar below the B & B which they will tour with guests once per day. do not miss the one tour for they will not offer a 2nd one. And don’t even ask or you get a little attitude. the rooms are fairly large with a terribly uncomfortable bed and older bed linens. on one side the rooms have a view of the mountains and country side. on the other side they have a view of the outside dining area, and if you look past the outside dining room table in front of your window you can see Mt Etna - do not pay extra for a Mt Etna view or you will be disappointed. they also have a very large pool that no one seemed to use. the dinner at the hotel was decent and so was the breakfast. this place could be really lovely if they updated it and added in a little TLC but to some visitors that is part of the charm.…
We stayed for two nights at Feudo Vagliasindi and were greeted by the friendly and hospitable Paolo. Our room was very clean and had a view of Mount Etna chuffing away, perfect! The pool was quiet and refreshing. On our second day we had an incredible wine tasting experience where Paolo showed us the winery beneath the hotel which was used historically to produce the wine. We were then taken to the terrace to sample the wine and had some lovely anti pasti. Later we had a stroll through the vineyards- it was simply perfect. Thank you Paolo and your team for a great stay!
