We spent two weeks in San Rocco in Soiano during our summer holidays. The location is absolutely amazing. The complex is set in an old monastery on a hill, overlooking the Southern part of Lake Garda. It is small enough to be charming and big enough to have good facilities, like the large pool and a restaurant. While sometimes advertised...

There is something to say about a hotel feeling like a home. The owner Paolo is an exceptional host. The room's are private and clean. Kitchen is stacked with all you need to cook a basic meal and morning coffee. The nearest grocery store is right down the hill from the hotel with all the ingredients needed to cook a...

The hotel is on a hillside with fantastic views of Sirmione and the lake. It offers both self catering and bed & breakfast accommodation, and I opted for the latter. My room was on the third floor, no kitchen, and it had a velux window so I didn't need air conditioning, despite the really hot weather at the end of...

Was part of a large group for a wedding. The rooms were big, the pool and surroundings were beautiful. The breakfast was nice and the meal we had on one of the nights was lovely. The staff were very friendly and great at their job. The owner was brilliant. would come back but get a room with aircon.

This is more of a hotel than an Agriturismo even though you get a small kitchen in your room. You don't get the personal feeling and welcome you get at some of the other agri-turismos we've visited. The location is really beautiful, and you have a partial view of the lake. The pool is really nice, big and deep, but...

Very nice location in the area of garda lake. Very quiet. NIce swimmingpool and big rooms. Also wifi there. We missed and aircondition on the rooms. And there were not many pans for cooking. Location is perfect. From there you cam do a lot of trips and it is not so crowdy.

Lovely, clean self catering apartments on a working olive farm. awesome view from the kitchenette which opens onto a terrace. Huge pool with loungers to cool down at. Friendly staff. Watch out for their specials. Great base to explore the area of lake Garda.

We have been visiting the area for the last 12 years, staying at San Rocco for the past five years - two visits most years, with family, friends and as a couple. A lovely family owned hotel - cannot fault the warmth of the welcome from Paolo Manestrini and his family. Very relaxing, fantastic views over the Lake, great swimming...

no wifi, but that's not really a problem. The Residence is located on top of a hill, over-looking parts of Lake Garda, for those without a car, there are busses to Desenzano.Breakfast is Italian-style( i.e. ggod Espresso, Cappucino etc. plus rolls, marmalade and some local sausages)
