The good - it was clean The bad - no heat and no fireplace, no electricity for part of the visit ( expected). The temp was a chilly plus 5. We asked many times for a key and were not given one to lock our belongings up. Price was always given after meals and the food barely passable. We were...

This little boutique has it all. A good restaurant, nice location at the plaza and ties with the local community. Beds may be harder than usual, but that is made up for by the warm and friendly owners. During the day the staff verifies all rooms are locked before leaving the property, and are aware of presence/absence of guests. One...

We really had no plans of where we were going to stay. A person in the train station said to get off at Bahuichivo and there would be cheaper accommodations. We would be able to get trips/ transportation to see the sights from there. We got of the the train and Francia and Alberto gave us a good feeling. We...

Through all of my trip, this place had the most updated and pristine lodging and accommodations (the owners recently constructed the hotel). Each room has different colors and styles which I thought was pretty cool. The room we stayed in had 2 comfortable queen size beds, a sink, and a bathroom. The views from our second floor room were breathtaking!...

Hotel Jade in Cerocahui is a wonderful option for stopping a couple of days in your Copper Canyon trip experience. The Balderrama Hotels option, Hotel Mision, is greatly overpriced a does not offer anything that could stand out from Hotel Jade. Alberto and Francia were very friendly and pretty clear on prices and services. The rooms are modest but nice...

While you are watching the colibris with the sunset in the beutiful little garden, Francia is going to ask you what you would like to eat for diner, and Alberto is going to talk to you about the region. Go with tem to...

Extremely friendly and outgoing, the owners are making everything they can to make your stay unforgettable. The perfect place to start your excursions through the Sierra Tarahumara, including the tropical little town of Urique and its surroundings. They even organized me a jog with a Tarahumara runner! Absolutely recommended.

As already written in different guidebooks, friendly Alberto and Francia run this new nice and clean hotel. Surprisingly good dishes, and the little extra which makes life pleasant, for example, when we came back from our tour with Alberto to Urique, Francia had cleaned our car :). The tour with Alberto to Urique was quite demanding for the car, because...

We felt very welcome here by the owners who arranged for a local tour and prepared delicious special meals for us. Prices are reasonable, rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, location is great for seeing the Copper Canyon, owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. Will come back next year!
