MOTEL NET.T

Sole purpose for staying here was to be near the station and this road side Motel was around 10 minutes walk away. Otherwise it really is a place for a one night stop passing through. It might be low cost, but fell far short in terms of quality. On arrival I was greeted by the guy on reception. Asked for payment which fortunately lower than what booking.com quoted me as no single use of a double/twin tariff was published. Then we hit a problem - no card reader was working. I asked if the one use for the bar/restaurant was working which he said yes, so was somewhat taken back that wasn't utilised. As I didn't have enough Hungarian currency or euro cash on me, I had to make a 30 minute walk to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash out. Came back, paid and settled up. The price was knocked down from around HUF 6400 to 6000. Corridor light switches hard at first to find especially at the top of the stairs. The room was furnished to a very basic standard, in poor condition and dirty. This included the bathroom which didn't even have a cup. Shower cubical leaked. Only one thin bath towel, no hand towel or foot mat. There was WiFi, however not very good. I had an evening meal which was good value and although basic quite welcoming after a long day including another 30 minute trip to the bank. And yes, I could pay for the meal by card.I left early in the morning so didn't take breakfast. Overall - I cannot recommend this location.…

Good

It is the second stay in MotelNET.T, although almost 10 years have passed between the stays. Concerning the hotel, it is a perfectly good for quick stay while on transit. We knew the hotel from before so there were no surprises. The check-in was painless and fast. The room was a 3 single bed room, with minimum furnishing but clean. The heating was not working and on our request the lady at the reception had us resettled in a different room in a matter of minutes. Cannot comment about the restaurant as I haven't used it. The conclusion: we will use the hotel also in the future when in transit.

Perfect for passing through and 1 night sleeps, cheap prise, fine and cheap food whit good dose

I were there 2 times whit my friends. Slept 1 night each time in 2 different rooms. Availability Its only about 800 meters from the motorway between Vine and Budapest Privet parking whit fence or parking in front of the Hotel. People So first of all the riceptionists and the waitresses were really kind answered all my questions and helped me whit every thing. No problem. Price we were first in a 3 bad room then in a 4 but it dosent mattered the price were the same for 3 of us. it was cheap but sadly it didnt include the dinner i needed to pay that in the restaurant. The brekfeast were in the price. They accept Euro and Forints to. Rooms. Well the rooms were clean but not that shiny ones. Fully basic rooms whit old tv. Privet shower, toilet in each room were good. The matresses were old and the bedding to. Not fully confortable but it was good for 1 night sleep. The second room was quiter then the first becaous the first one where we slept is next to the main road. If you arent looking for High standardsl it is totaly fine. Its cheap to. Food The food were cheap and fine. There were a good choice of foods from Hungarian specialityes to other nations foods. The portion is good and you can choose from 3 different cheaper menus to. You can pay in EUro and FOrints to. The service was fast and fine.…

They are not serious

I booked a room via HRS in that hotel. In my booking form I clearly mentionned that it is 4 persons: me, my wife and 2 children.And the price was OK for me. When I arrived to the motel - it was a wedding there.I suceeded to find a guy at the reception and all our discussions were in the middle of the wedding, with loud music and dancing guests. They reserved for me a small room suitable only for 2 peoples.All the other rooms were already booked. They sent me to another hotel - but the price was bigger. On my request to provide me the same price - they refused. At the end We had to look for the second hotel in the middle of the night, being tired and with 2 small children. They were not cooperative at all.

A good place to stay if you don't look for high standards. Not for honeymoon :)

The motel is close to the highway close to the austrian border. As another guest said, the rooms are very basic, small with uncomfortable matresses, but with private bathroom (with shower). And only one towel per person. Good place to stay if you are passing trough and it is alright for 1 night if you aren't expecting very much. It's nor dirty but the room is not "shining" and the objects are far away from luxury. I can't said anything about the other types o food because we ordered just Hungarian food, and it was very good. The portions are very generous and the prices for both food and drink very reasonable. You can pay with credit card.

Basic but recommandable

The hotel is close to the motorway from Vienna to Budapest. The rooms are very basic, small with uncomfortable matresses. You have your private bathroom though and it is alright for 1 night. They offer safe parking in the fenced in yard. What we liked best was the good Hungarian food. The restaurant has a great menue with lots of local fish dishes. The portions are enormous and the prices for both food and drink very reasonable. For breakfast you can order from their breakfast menue and it is enough to get you started.
