I think in the summer this is probably a perfect place to stay. It is near the water, has a small "Biergarten" and very nice views. Not sure how all rooms are, but the one i had was an Appartement type since it had a separate bedroom a kitchen and a living room. The furniture and decoration was very nice...

The very first look at the hotel impressed me. The ambience was just perfect. The hospitality and the way the personnel interacted with us was very friendly. I loved the stay at the hotel, as the rooms were just artistic. The view from the hotel room was awesome. Being a riverside hotel, we could enjoy the river in the evenings....

This visit was indeed worth while, upon arrival the scenery was so breath-taking my husband and I fell in love. I must say everything was awesome, even the rooms were so beautiful and different none were identical all had a different atmosphere to it which we admired and moreover the food was very delightful. Will definitely take another trip here....

It is a great place. When we reached there we welcomed very warmly. The rooms were well spacious and therefore I felt an aristocratic situation when staying. I had passed there a great romantic moment with my husband. The food quality, garden everything were incredible. And for this we stayed there 2 days. I wish if I were gone there...

No room is the same, and that's a good thing; creates a charming and cozy feeling. This is what you would expect from a 'guesthouse'. Breakfast could do with an update though, and maintenance needs a boost. Diner is outstanding as is the wine-list. The view and surrounding area's are great for walking and running, and the view of the...

Spent three nights for a conference in Mainz. Very close and easy to reach by car. Very nice place with a nostalgic atmosphere. Staff are friendly and supportive. Rooms with a unique feel and nice views of the river. Great food in the restaurant.

I had a chance to spent in this hotel only one night, but it was very convenient stay. It’s very nice hotel in amazing location next to river, very friendly and supportive team, comfortable rooms, free wifi and tasty breakfast. Once being somewhere close by next time, this hotel is surely going to be my preferred choice.

Yes, it is not a modern hotel as many of the hotel chain buildings and that's the beauty of the hotel. It is a family operated hotel and it has the charm with all the little drawbacks of a well aged hotel. I forgot my luggage in the train and without much explanation I received a toothbrush, a big toothpaste...

+ Friendly personal trying to save what can be saved in this hotel... - Overestimated, old, sad, expensive, small overcrowded breakfast room... A pity for an hotel with big potential and a relative good location. The impression is that it is abandoned...

Right just to put the record straight. I hate reading bad reviews of excellent hotels. In my line of work I travel the world and of course stay in many hotels. I travel all over Germany and to be honest I really look forward to staying at this hotel. The rooms are great, really friendly staff who will do anything...
