Love dale cottages is a great place for a budget Hunter weekend escape. Not going to suit those looking for the 5 star experience but also not priced in that league. We found it to be a great location to explore the vineyards and very private. Cottage facilities were adequate if a bit dated, the rustic feel suited us fine....

Really enjoyed the cottages. They were rustic and quirky also clean and well equipped. Our kids loved roaming around deciding between tennis, cricket, golf or swimming. Plenty of space for them (and the chooks and roosters!). Cabins were private. Loved the fireplace and better still chopped wood was delivered daily. Breakfast hamper was very generous.

First impression very old mouldy couchs on veranda and it didn't improve inside! He's ion nailed to roof, very cold, small log fire that hadn't been cleaned out. Air conditioner noisy and ineffective! Had to wash glasses to drink out of them. Advertised heated pool however cover was on the whole weekend. Advertised free a WiFi but no one could...

Once again we had an amazing relaxing time at the cottages. This is our 2nd visit, the first time as a couple and this time as a family in the 2 bedroom cottage. Everything about the cottages is relaxing and comfortable. Backing onto the national park, we felt completely secluded. My son loved the heated pool, tennis and mini golf....

We recently stayed with friends in 2 bedroom cottage while attending a wedding at vineyard nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed the rustic bush cabin with the warmth of the wood fire and the comfort of period furniture and a generous breakfast hamper. The owners Paul and Rosie were a delight to meet and give you plenty of space to enjoy the...

The cottage we stayed in, number one is very run down and in need of some urgent maintenance. Upon arrival we discovered we had no running water, on further investigation I found that the water pump from the tank needed to be reset, problem fixed. Outdoor furniture was very old and one leg snapped on one of the chairs we...

We had a wonderful stay at Lovedale Cottages, Enjoyed the rustic style of accommodation that was well set up and had everything that we needed for a relaxing weekend in the Hunter Valley. We enjoyed a game of tennis, a swim, and the boys spent a few hours on the golf course. Cabin was very comfortable - and it was...

We have stayed at lovedale cottages on several occasions and are never disappointed. Great setting, quiet and relaxing. Always clean and tidy and well set out rustic cottages. Breakfast is supplied which we like. Very friendly owners who are always helpful. We will definitely be back. Thanks

Stayed here recently with family given the glowing reviews and list of facilities. We had several cabins and were very disappointed given paying almost $400 a night per cabin ... * Rooms were dust traps - made my daughter and I sick with sinus infection. Looks surface clean but filthy on closer inspection * Bathroom amenities were open/used bottles of...

What over priced, horrible accommodation. We stayed to go to a concert. At $420 a night we expected value for money. The outside balcony was so decrepit I was scared to walk on it for fear I might fall through. The furniture outside was unusable due to the filthy state it was in and the falling apart. The pool area...
