Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I stayed in a lovely Bed & Breakfast in Camp Village, Co Kerry, with good car parking, rooms en-suite, central heating and good WiFi. The location was on the foothills of beautiful mountains also adjacent to the " Dingle Way " mountain trail and we had a warm welcome from Prop Kathleen Daly.
There was a lovely cosy pub and restaurant right across the road from the B & B so dinner in the evening was no problem.

Ideally located for those walking the Dingle way or driving around the peninsula. Kathleen gave us a very warm welcome. Place is clean and well organised. Rooms are fairly standard with a decent shower. Breakfast was excellent.

Don't need to add any more than I did in my last review. Just wanted to address an issue brought up by WileyManVA in his review regarding the wifi.
Finglas House. being of solid concrete construction, both walls and ceilings, poses particular problems for the transmission of wifi. The further away from the router, the weaker the signal. However, if the purpose of a vacation is "to get away from it all" then perhaps little or no wifi is a blessing of sorts.
Anyway, on our present visit we helped rectify the problem by the simple installation of a couple of wifi extenders. Our room was at the extreme end of the house away from the router and I was able to connect flawlessly to Skynews Live, Eurosport, Netflix, and download a couple of movies.

My son an I spent one evening at Finglas House after a long day on the DIngle Way. My son in particular was discouraged and we were both quite tired and wet, as it had begun to rain. Kathleen was very welcoming and made sure we had everythng we needed. She was also encouraging (the walk gets easier after that first leg!) and we had a wonderful night's rest and a fabulous breakfast the next morning. I would return here in a heartbeat.

I stayed at this B&B two nights - one at the beginning of my walk of the Dingle Way, and one on the way back. Kathleen was an excellent host. She was caring and concerned about me as a single female hiker and gave me some tips for hiking along the way. The room was comfortable and clean and look out at the ocean, there was a guest room with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, and breakfast in the morning was delicious with plenty of food!

We had booked through the most fantastic walking tour company of Tailor-Made Tours. What a great choice. Kathleen is a lovely, welcoming and super capable woman that made us feel quite at home. She introduced us to the other guests and showed us to our twin room.Furnishings and all very simple and basic but we had everything we needed. The Breakfast menu was extensive and delicious. Kathleen even offered to store our excess luggage for the week that we were walking the Dingle Way. We stayed with Kathleen again on our return and enjoyed her even more the 2nd time.

Had a great nights sleep at Finglas house. It's situated across from a nice pub which is where we had dinner. The room was large, well appointed with a big clean bathroom. We had a storm that night it was nice listening to it roar outside. Woke up to a lovely view of the water. I would recommend staying here for anyone walking the Dingle Way.

We had a really nice stay here walking the dingle way. Kathleen made us feel welcome instantly. Breakfast was very nice. There's a nice pub opposite to the B&B, for your evening meal. Bed was a bit hard.

I had a rough day walking the first bit of the Dingle way... skip Tralee to Camp...unless you are a mountain goat. There is more spectacular scenery further down the way. Kathleen actually came to collect me when I bailed on mile ten... too rocky for my old knees and hips. That being my first day, I was not sure I wanted to walk the next day... Kathleen assured me that the next days walk was easy and gorgeous... and it was. So glad she encouraged me to continue... her house is lovely, the dining room over looks the bay... food was great. Fabu!

We stayed at Finglas House when we started walking the Dingle Way, and there is no better place to start then at Kathleen`s place. She is very kind and welcoming, she makes sure you'll have a wonderfulp time at her place. The view of our room was super, the room was very well equipped and the lounge was cosy, the breakfast was very good. Kathleen wanted us to have a good start on our way.
It was very kind of her to let us leave our car at her place while we were walking.
