I used the accommodation here, when I walked The Dingle Way by myself. It was my first place, where I slept on my way and it was great. John and his dog Hugo are very friendly. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was big and comfortable. The pub near by Camp Junction house served delicious dinners. The breakfast in house was excellent. I used the accommodation in this house twice during my hiking - in the beginning of The Dingle Way and at the end as well. John was very chatty, friendly and really profesional. I enjoyed my stay here. I would like to recommend Camp Junction House to any travelers, especially to any walkers on The Dingle Way.

John Doyle’s a legend and great at hospitality. Almost as good as Hugo … his dog! Great for hikers, food was excellent, very close to two pubs, and very accommodating. He helped to arrange transportation for all of us. I made an unusual error for me: I forgot my boots at his place. Getting them would have required a six hour round trip. He arranged for one of his guests to drop them off for me. Saved me a lot of time

Amazing staff: like being at home, or better, at your grandma. We've been cuddled since the first moment, everything was clean and well furnished. The Irish breakfast was mesmerising, but also classic cereals, milk and yogurt were available.

Clean rooms with en suite bathroom, excellent hosting by John the owner, full hearty breakfast choices, great sea view, and helpful advice on where to go and how to get there. An excellent choice. This is perfect home base for exploring the area.

Very well maintained rooms and stunning views. Good Wi-Fi and John is a great host who does a very filling breakfast and is most helpful. If you are a biker like me you will find a great place with safe cover for your bike and gear and an excellent base to tour Kerry and Clare

You’ve just got to stay in Johnny Doyle’s B&B . . . if only to meet Hugo, Johnny’s next door neighbour’s dog . . . If Opportunity Knocks was still on, the pair would waltz it . . . Johnny personifies the West Kerry wit and humour but more importantly his establishment is second to none . . . Johnny and Catherine will never forget our charming host and his equally nice mates in the Railway Tavern!

5 of us stayed here last night while doing the Kerry camino. The location was excellent with a pub serving food at the end of the drive way and a charming country pub a stones throw away. The B&B was Spotless and John's friendly and welcoming nature had us sold straight away. A great night sleep with a fabulous breakfast, (best porridge I've ever had!!) Thanks John we will be back, from the Kilkenny campers 😊

We stayed at Camp Junction House on the second night of our Kerry Camino. Host John gave us great welcome with tea on his front terrace with its stunning view out to sea. We also had fascinating and wide ranging discussion about world affairs! He was most attentive about our various requirements including booking dinner for us at the excellent bar at the bottom of his drive. After a good nights sleep in his comfortable rooms, breakfast consisted of a wide choice including the mountain of excellent smoked salmon along with scrambled egg that your reviewer had. We had some limits to our walking capabilities so John picked out a portion of the next Camino stage which would work, dropped us at the start of the portion which finished at the stunning Inch beach. He also organised the taxi to being us back to pick up our car at his place.. Five star hospitality in every way. Many thanks John!…
