We stayed here overnight to break our journey from Mozambique and it was perfect as an overnight stay. The pool was a welcome sight and the rooms were clean and affordable. Dave was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in Kruger View Lodge in the beginning of March 2013 for three days four nights. We had three people and had a two story room. Loved the decorations. The room opened up the balcony overlooking Kruger. The meals were so good! Dave made Braai one night and also made pasta. I went back for fifths. :) The safaris... More

I only stayed for 2 days, it should have been longer. I wanted to see Kruger whilst I was in South Africa and I couldn't really justify the cost of some of the safaris as i had planned to go on a trip through zambia anyway. My hostel in CT, capetown backpackers told me to go and stay here and... More

We stayed here for just one night. We stayed in a cabin, but it was very old and little bit dirty. It is more like a garden house for storage tools and that kind of things, but not for sleeping. Pay less more and choose for a double ensuite, then you will get much much better for your money. The... More

I have traveled to Mozambique for the past 10 years and have stayed over at the lodge every time I go to Mozambique. My family and group was received in a way that you feel comfortable and immidiately at home. The owner Dave had all our requests ready and made one of our group's birthday special. Thanks for your excellent service.

We were staying at the lodge over the December period. I would not recommend this lodge as we experienced the following. Rooms were dirty with old chewing gum still stuck against the walls, the linen and bedding was terrible, one bed was broken and completely worn out . The actual mattresses were so thin you could feel the holes and... More

I highly recommend Kruger View if visiting Kruger National Park. We traveled from the US and spent a considerable amount of time researching lodging for our visit to Kruger National Park. Every email inquiry to Kruger View was promptly answered and filled with valuable information to help prepare us for our trip. We signed up for the 3-night package, with... More

My friends and I were supposed to stay in the restcamp inside Kruger National Park. However, all accommodations were fully booked. Our tour guide from Joburg, informed us that he knows somewhere where we can stay. And he brought us to Kruger View Backpackers. At first, we felt hesitant since the outside view is so dull. We didn't mind it... More

We stayed here in April and had a good time... However a couple of concerns before I get to the good stuff... 1, this is truly a CHAIN SMOKERS PARADISE. If you don't smoke (which we don't), you may struggle here. The owner and many of the guests while we were here just sit and smoke either in the common... More
