A lovely BnB with marvelous view of the ocean. The staff/owners are very friendly and really make you feel welcome. When I entered Slow Train BnB I got the feeling of being a part of a community free from stress and problems. The breakfast was truly amazing, far from a standard hotel breakfast.

What at first glance looks like a junkyard is actually deceptively a delightfully creative b&b filled with shabby chic discovered furniture and art collected by the eccentric but brilliantly innovative owners - a wonderland for photographers. The breakfast was fresh and filling. The crepe restaurant attached to the inn was similarly delightful. Yummy filling crepes prepared by a chef from...

Very very nice, beautiful, original place with lots of atmosphere and great staff. Food was excelent, room was perfect for our needs, the owners were super cool and helpful and the whole way of their business is unique and very down to earth. And extra star would have been given for wi-fi in the rooms as well (in the building...

Slow Train has the ambience of a bohemian, exentric home away from home and is a truly unic experience. Slow Train bed and breakfast is located on the small island of Fårö, Gotland, Sweden, an island in the Baltic sea where world famous film director Ingmar Bergman lived for decades. Slow Train is situated two minutes from the sea in...

Slow Train's service was as its name to start with. It took them a week to respond to my availability enquiry and they never confirmed my reservation. However, upon my arrival at Visby and calling them from the Tourist Office, they explained the daughter, who had been in touch initially, had been sick therefore unable to respond further. The person,...

This was our third trip to the island of Faro and the first time we stayed at Slow Train B&B. We stayed at Slow Train for three days and enjoyed our stay very much. As we arrived and waited for a few moments on the small veranda we had a chance to have a peek at the breakfast room and...

We found a peaceful place on Faro close to the Baltic Sea with very nice and helpful staff. In fact, we liked it so much that we came back this year too. We have had two different rooms, both very beautiful and roomy. One of the best things about this place is the fantastic breakfast served downstairs in suberbly decorated...

On arriving at this Bed&Breakfast with a cute website, we were genuinely shocked to discover our room resembled a cellar/sheep pen. Maybe this sounds a little overdramatic? If so, picture a long, narrow rectangular room at the bottom of a barn, gloomy and dank, smelling distinctly of mould, with tiny windows at each end that don't open. The room was...
