We stayed here on our way to malaga and back again. a great place to stay pet friendly. This is clean and tidy with an on site bar it offers breakfast well a sticky bun and a drink there is a cafe next door if your looking for an evening or afternoon meal there is also a conference room and swimming pool on site. but be aware if you or any of your party are disabled, there are no lifts so if stairs are an issue think again on booking this hotel, there are downstairs rooms as well as upstairs but if you have a pet they put you upstairs because the upstairs rooms have balconies ideal for pets. But every room they have upstairs or down are on a two tear level. you enter the room and enter to a room with a bed and balcony if your upstairs but as I said every room is on a two tear basis once your in the room with the bed you will find a staircase go up the staircase and you will find two more beds and a bathroom with a bath shower and toilet yes its upstairs so no good for disabled but it is perfect if you are abled bodied. …
All the previous reviews are spot on. Clean, friendly and badly in need of a refit. They couldn’t find our reservation even though I showed them the confirmation from Bookings.com. Make sure you ask for a non smoking room, it’s still allowed and if it wasn’t for the fact we’d already unloaded our stuff before the air freshener wore off, we’d have moved. We opened the window an let the wind blow thru for a few hours. If you can make it closer to Madrid, try that. BTW, we were on motos, there is no secure parking. The other issue in this town is, if you are here Mon-Thur don’t expect any restaurant to be open. We did find a great local bar just on the roundabout as you approach the hotel.
So we stayed here for work, to attend meetings in tres cantos. It was acceptable, but i tend to agree with the other reviews i.e. dated property, clean basic rooms and friendly staff. Nearby there are some good traditional restaurants and traffic wise its a good option for getting to tres cantos without being stuck in mayhem. If you are on a tight budget and want something very basic/hostal style it is ok.
We have just used this hotel as a start and finish base for a sportscar rally. Madrid-Vila Real-Madrid 2014 Sportscar Challenge. The staff and management could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and everything they could do to make our guests feel at home was done. They went out of their way to help with arrangements for 28 cars to be securely parked over night and made wonderful welcoming banners to greet everyone on arrival and departure. It was lovely to know that a friendly welcome was awaiting us at the finish after 6 long gruelling days around Spain and Portugal in what was not the kindest of weather! We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and its warm friendly staff
Stayed at Prado Real for two nights. Rooms are basic, though kind of spacious. At least ours was in two levels with the bed and bathroom on "second floor" and a living area downstairs. The living area had a small desk, a sink and a fridge. There is also a small balcony from what I could see in every room. The hotel is more of a mix between a collection of serviced (small) apartments and a hotel/motel. Everything is clean but quite worn. Staff is very helpful, though not all speak much English. But then again this is almost in the Spanish countryside, so align your expectations accordingly. Perfectly adequate if you need to stay local, if you are looking for more upmarket, drive to Madrid.
