Stayed overnight only. Pleased with our twin room. It was spacious, very clean with a large en suite! We had a Saturday evening meal at the Lord Moreton. We felt very safe as all the staff wore masks as did the diners except for when sat at our tables. Food was served hot and portions were large! Breakfast was table service only but food cooked to order. There were quite a lot of diners for one server to cope with. We are happy to return to this venue in the future.

We were on our way on holiday when we decided at about 1am that it was safer to try and find somewhere to sleep for the night rather than keep driving, and this place was our haven! Whilst the rooms are basic, they are clean and the beds were comfortable and very welcome to our tired selves. We managed to book online 10 mins before showing up which was fantastic too! We had the breakfast included and it was a standard full English, the only downside was that there seemed to be only one member of staff serving in the restaurant, she did a brilliant job but it did mean a very long wait for the breakfast. Overall, would recommend for a quick overnight stop on the way somewhere as it is great value!

Very impressed by the size of the room and the quality of mattress and bedding. Big telly, too. Although the card key mechanism didn't work on our original room, it was only a minor inconvenience. Not big on facilities, we did use the restaurant before the Government forced its closure. With Coronavirus beginning to bite, the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us, despite their potential imminent redundancy. We'd definitely return once the crisis is over.

Room Tip: We were on the first floor above reception (room 34) facing the car park rather than the main A5...

Comfortable, very clean, spacious room. Had everything you needed within. Large TV, table and chairs plus dressing table with mirror and chair for getting ready. Good lighting range and lots of plug sockets available to use. The underfloor heating within the bathroom was a lovely little added extra.
