My boyfriend and I stayed here over my birthday, which is also Valentines and often causes a few problems. We arrived tired after snowboarding looking forward to using the spa facilities. At check in, we asked about the pool and were told that we couldn't that night ... the receptionist failed to tell us that the whole thing would be...

We were on a strenuous trek and this was the only place that had a vacancy at a week's notice. It was definitely a cut above the mountain refuges and occasional 2-star hotels that we had been using. The resort is a bit of a ghost town in September and there is little to do so we spent most of...

If you look for exciting venues, cool shopping streets, and a charming restaurant with a long cue in front of it, Panticosa is not for you. However, if you can live with a very silent surrounding, filled by stunning mountains and lakes, and you are even ready to be completely isolated for a cuple of days, in case of exceeding...

An example to what bad management can do to a fabulous place on an unparalleled location. The place is stunningly beautiful and definitely worth a visit, so is the spa facility which is magnificent. But that is it. Most of the complex is abandoned and in degradation. Several buildings were left half built or were abandoned, and while the only...

Remote location but some great hiking trails nearby. Location is beautiful but feels slightly like a ghost town in May. Hotel is modern but attention to detail lacking (e.g. plugs not working & damp patches on walls).Very friendly staff and food in hotel satisfactory. Spa needs renovating but could be amazing. Generally the area feels like it is unfinished and...

We stayed for one night, purely because we were walking through Balneario de Panticosa on the GR11 and needed a hotel. We arrived late and left early so can't comment on the spa facilities. The whole place seemed almost deserted. There are a few huge modern hotels but one seems never to have been completed and doesn't look as if...

We stayed for 5 days at this hotel in February this year. The first slight let down is the locality. It is at the end of a treacherous road high in the Pyrenees; picturesque in summer I am sure but very slippy and dangerous in winter. On one morning we thought we would have to abandon the car until locals...

The hotel was attractive in a very modern style, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was decent and plentiful...for me, the real draw was the thermal baths and they were a lovely surprise at the end of a very long, winding road in the Pyrennees...the location and the province of Huesca are both outstanding

“Drive to the nearby piedrificata de jaca and go to the parco faunitistico - great little hike where you can see deer, wolves, etc in an animal reserve. Piedrificata de jaca has some great hiking trails as well very near the animal reserve that do not disappoint! Breathtaking views!”
