Usual friendly greeting from the staff, there was a bit of a queue but the lady apologised for keeping us waiting which wasnt an issue. Room was the normal standard ive found in other premier inns and the food in the attached pub was nice. Great location for chester zoo and chesire oaks

Check in was a little slow but ok. We were in room 210 ground floor annex room which was fine, the layout of the rooms is a bit of a rabbit Warren but again was not a problem. The room was the usual Premier Inn standard and nice and clean. We had booked a meal deal that that was fine too.

The room was dirty, there was a squashed fly on the mirror, spiders in the room. The bed was so small, it wasn't even a double bed. We have Premier inn pillows at home and these were not the same. I am not too sure how you can say you give a good night sleep. The bed was most definitely a small double! I am 7.5 months pregnant and I had the worst sleep ever..my husband even told reception and they didn't say or do anything

Our room was on the first floor of the annexe (Room 315). It was clean and comfortable. On the first night the extractor fan in the bathroom was not working but we reported it and it was repaired immediately. The room was generally fairly quiet (no road noise at all). We closed the window overnight as it overlooked the restaurant next door from which there was some occasional noise. The bed was very comfortable and, being a Queen Size, it was the same size as our own, at home (so it fitted us!). There was a lovely large telly with a good picture quality and tea/coffee making accoutrements. The Covid protocol meant that we had to make our own bed and dry our own towels for the three nights of our stay but that made perfect sense when the changeover room cleaning would be much more comprehensive than normal. The cost was the astonishing thing! What we assumed to be the cost for each night turned out to be the total cost for the three nights of our stay - including breakfast!

The staff were great, the room was fine but the noise above us was terrible, it sounded like a hear of elephants from 5.30am!! We spoke to reception to see if the people above us were checking out, and were pleased to hear that they were. Unfortunately, the next people above us were just as noisy, so we assume this is the problem for everyone on the ground floor. We ended up checking out a night early so we could go home and get a good nights sleep. We would only return to this Premier Inn if we were on the top floor.
