We have just got back from two great nights in this hotel and the rooms were very good and clean and the excellent could not do enough for you and made our stay so special. The railway station is a 15 minutes walk away were you can catch the train to Liverpool or Chester and we paid £5.50 for a day ticket that allowed you to get off and on the train as many times as you liked. We will defiantly be returning to this hotel again.

We were so very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I wasn’t expecting an awful lot from a wowcher deal but it’s a really lovely place. A little dark on entering the building so we weren’t sure what to expect but it’s quite an extensive building with some lovely bright public areas and gardens. The room was lovely and sparkling clean. Gorgeous breakfast and super friendly staff. It’s a bit out of the way so you have to drive out if you wanted a drink or food elsewhere. Would love to return though.

Amazing hidden gem. It exceeded our expectations, the food is great and very flexible especially if you have a fussy child. The rooms are cozy and have lots of space . Also the staff are very friendly and attentive. Beds are extremely comfortable ( we had twin singles ), and they provide a large amount of room , furthermore it provides room service (free of charge). (Also provides hot chocolates and coffees in the room ) Lastly our room ( I presume all ) had a widescreen flat TV .
