I had previously stayed in the Yunokawa Prince Hotel in Hakodate, so I was excited to learn of another location in Niseko. Rooms with private onsens are normally quite expensive, and this chain offers a decent bargain. The only downside to this onsen is that the only shower in the room is the Japanese public-bath-style one located next to the...

I've stayed here 2 yrs in a row and am planning to stay again next year. The location is great, with great amenities. You can watch the bunny slope from the comfort of the indoors on the lobby level. I traveled with my in-laws as well as my 1yr old daughter (they don't ski) and this is a great benefit....

This hotel is not cheap, but there are a few reasons why the price is justified. The rooms are simple, with tatami mat floors. We had a twin room with a private onsen overlooking the beginners slope, and sinking into that hot water after a day of skiing was magic. The shower is next to the onsen so you can...

There is an onsen in the room. So nice! It's great that you can jump into the onsen after ski.

The hotel is a typical Japanese hotel with selection of Japanese or Western Style bedrooms. There is public onsen (with 3 pools) even if you do not book a room with your own private one. We booked the hotel through a package and breakfast and dinner are included - both are buffet style. There is only 1 restaurant in the...

My wife and I were in Niseko early in the season and as a result found the place to be a little quiet and dare I say boring and massively over-priced. The hotel was good, all staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and very quiet. I agree with the earlier posts...you have to book a room with your...

Ok, the hotel itself isn't amazing, but you have to book the room with private onsen facing Mt Yotei. It was great having an onsen in your room and looking into Mt Yotei while you relax in your onsen. The buffet dinner was excellent. It's about 5-10mins walk to the chair lift, or there's a direct ski-down area from the...

Take an average hotel in a convenient location and staff it with tirelessly helpful people: that's my experience of the Hirafutei (what the Yumoto Niseko Prince Hotel is called in Niseko). If you are looking for a place to soak your aching muscles and rest up for the next day of skiing/boarding, without breaking the bank, the Hirafutei should go...

Great location, close to restaurants and right next to the ski lift. We stayed at a Japanese style room with onsen (in-room bath), was great to have in-room bath after snowboarding. Buffet breakfast was pretty good, they serve both Japanese & Western food, great selection of food. Two Free of charge desktops on the lobby floor, and coin laundry available...

Agree with the above review. For the price, everything is quite reasonable. I stayed in a Japanese Style room. While the room was a little on the small side, it was comfortable. The location of the hotel itself is the selling point - close to the slopes and convenient to all restaurants or stores. One slight problem was that when...
